Indeed, she should’ve had higher standards when she started dating, but, as a woman with a child, she does need to have high standards in order to provide her child with a proper family. However, the standards should be about character first and foremost. She obviously needs to avoid pedophiles and leeches. A good man will naturally be a good provider and protector, but it doesn’t mean he’ll be wealthy, a trophy husband or someone she can walk all over.
It is not “single moms” that are posting on tik tock and you tube - it is the “strong independent woman” who partied through her 20s and now facing her 30s going on line asking “where are all the good men?”
The answer is of course all the “good men” are in her past, the ones she used and discarded or the ones that never met her standards. She was not interested. But now she is facing the undeniable truth of life, older, more mature, successful, men are not interested in women their own age, they are interested in the “cute young things” that have not been riding the carousel for ten years racking up the body count.
Yes. The Brady Bunch scenario is about the only way.
Both single parents, widowed, and honorable in their morality.

It was usual and known.
Many men took on a stepchild.
An this was in staid England middle and upper middle classes

She evidently ony JUST raised her standards after she bore a child. Now, some poor guy has to pick up the piece for her life and take care of her and some other guy’s baby

It's statistically proved that children from single parent households do worse in school, are more likely to get into trouble with the law, more likely to do drugs, more likely to drop out of school, more likely to bear children out of wedlock, etc. Why vonuntarily stack the deck against your own child like this????????????????????????
what’s a man? well by now we ALL know the answer to that...depends on what a woman is. speaking of depends, what does a woman wear when husband is driving? depends.
