USAID: The NGO which Rory Stewart’s wife works for just has its USAID funding cancelled, The Turquiose Mountain Foundation, teaches ‘liberated’ Afghan women about modern art like Duchamp’s urinal.

Why do the women have to be puzzled? Got to give them points for creativity with these grant applications.

That is a well-crafted sentence.

The gall! That wasn’t USAID’s money, it’s the US taxpayers! Get the UK to fund you, or one of those damn royals.

Just another example of what is more than likely THE worst grifting racket not only our country has seen but the whole world.

Rory was a leader of the “coup” which took out Bojo.

Bojo was a Bozo whose raw ambition caused him to take a side with the MAJORITY of UK voters who backed Brexit.

Rory and his one nation “conservative” crowd could not allow any leader of their party to lean toward representing the voters who elected him.

Rory and those atop the “Conservative Party” have all sold out to the Globalist one world gubmint scum.

I truly believe that the UK is a lost cause.

The comment section of The Daily Telegraph which is about the most “conservative” of UK rags still have a lot of folk that refuse to accept that Trump and his America First nationalism is the solution to woes and misery caused by NWO crowd.

The would-be grantee is also a liar.

Turquoise Mountain was established in 2006 by His Majesty King Charles III to revive historic areas and traditional crafts

Charles was NOT King at the time. It is more proper to use his then title "Charles, Prince of Wales", or the future King Charles III. Older books by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger are NOT credited to "Pope Benedict XVI" on the cover or in the ISBN listing, because he wasn't the Pope at the time, so it would be improper to imply an authority that isn't there.

Years ago, I was in Rhiyadh and will testify that women under sharia law are imprisoned behind closed doors and are not allowed to be educated. From what I am understanding, Afghanistan is again under sharia law, thanks to Joe Biden and every single democrat - certain things that woman is advocating might get Afghani women tortured and/or killed.

We have been getting 🍆 by these people. F that Brit and his wife. We need some of that money clawed back.

The Turquoise Mountain Foundation is a non-governmental organization legally established in Scotland. It takes its name from Turquoise Mountain and initially focused on the enhancement of the Afghanistan craft industry. The organization subsequently expanded its work to Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Myanmar (Burma).

History and activities
Turquoise Mountain was founded in 2006 by King Charles III (then the Prince of Wales) in partnership with President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai, and British writer, academic and former politician Rory Stewart, a former Conservative member of Parliament. Stewart was chief executive of the foundation from 2005 to 2008; the current chief executive is his wife Shoshana Stewart.

Among the charity's projects was the Turquoise Mountain Institute for Afghan Arts and Architecture, a school for the study of traditional Afghan calligraphy, ceramics, woodworking and jewelry-making. Many of the Institute's graduates are Afghan women. Turquoise Mountain also largely funded a major restoration project in Murad Khane, the old town of Kabul, encompassing the restoration of over 150 buildings in the neighborhood.

The group describes its mission as "to preserve and regenerate historic areas and communities with a rich cultural heritage and to revive traditional crafts, to create jobs, skills and a renewed sense of pride." Funding has been provided by a number of public and private donors from both the West and Middle East, including the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), the Government of Afghanistan, the Government of India, the Blue Moon Fund, Reach Out To Asia, the Kathy Evans Afghan Education Trust, The Bonita Trust, The Prince's Charities, The Kingdom of Bahrain, the Amir of Kuwait, the Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation (Saudi Arabia) and the British Council.

"Many of the Institute's graduates are Afghan women."

So has anybody done a cost/benefit analysis of the money spent? What did these Afghan women get out of this program? Are they employed? Did they learn skills to become employed?

Or, most likely, did the Taliban eject them from school and force them back into their houses?

All the "work" of these NGOs makes me sick. But perhaps the very worst of the worst NGOs are those teaching people in Mexico (Mexicans and many other nationalities) how to illegally invade the USA and how to evade capture once inside the USA.

Modern art? Afghan women have other concerns. Like living in a backward, pre-civilization country where ignorance rules.

We would get more benefit out of converting that $1,000,000 into singles and burning it for energy. Would be a better use.
