I get that part. We should not be the ones to actually do it. Let the Israelis get their hands dirty with the expulsions. We can back them behind the scenes with money, weapons, and transportation.

IMHO, it's because of the "special relationship" with Israel in the region.

Unlike when Biden tried to build a simple pier on the coast, President Trump knows how to build. I guess it's his view that peace can be obtained if the "Palestinian" people get a taste of living a normal life away from rubble and militancy.

If Hamas is defeated, if Hezbollah is defeated, if Iran is defeated, if all the "influencers" of radicalism are eliminated, maybe things will begin to change in the region?

The Gaza Strip is about 145 sq. miles in area. It's about the size of Manhattan, the Bronx and Hoboken combined. It's prime Mediterranean coastal land. The people could become wealthy if they develop area into a destination resort.

If Saudi Arabia joins the Abraham Accords, if other countries join, too, and peace comes to the region, it will break the Russia and Iran proxies and bring stability to the region.

George W Bush tried to redo the history of the Mideast. I know Trump hated what Bush did in Afghanistan and Iraq and I doubt he's going to make the same mistakes, but this doesn't sound good.

President Trump said it was insanity to think that we should keep doing what we've been doing, because the fighting and killing never stops.

If we don't do something different, how much in future dollars will be spent on weapons being shipped to the Middle East over and over and over?

If we do something different, like rebuild the area into a desirable region, and back it up with peace accords, what are the chances that we only have to spend the money once?
