The Great Awakening ('Freedom of Thought’), was designed and created not only as a backchannel to the public (away from the longstanding ‘mind’ control of the corrupt & heavily biased media) to endure future events through transparency and regeneration of individual thought (breaking the chains of ‘group-think’), but, more importantly, aid in the construction of a vehicle (a ‘ship’) that provides the scattered (‘free thinkers’) with a ‘starter’ new social-networking platform which allows for freedom of thought, expression, and patriotism or national pride (the feeling of love, devotion and sense of attachment to a homeland and alliance with other citizens who share the same sentiment).
When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.

You’re not alone. I heard a phrase recently that completely describes what I’m feeling - moral injury. To know that the tacit social bonds we all took for granted were not only broken, but were found to be quite weak in the face of challenge, was jarring to me. To know that there were many people THAT I PERSONALLY KNOW who would have helped to hold me down and forcibly jab me isn’t anything you can easily forget. As you noted, still others would have been okay with sending us off to a camp until we caved.
The enormous betrayal by society has only recently hit me and has left me enraged. The medical profession betrayed us, health authorities betrayed us, our governments betrayed us, the population who wanted us in camps until we were jabbed betrayed us, and even the people who were ambivalent betrayed us by not explicitly supporting our rights to bodily autonomy. That understanding changes a person and not for the better. I’m more cynical, less trusting, and less inclined to give people the benefit of the doubt when faced with a choice between taking a charitable point of view about their words/actions and deciding they’re dumbasses.
I don’t want to be this way and I’m resentful that outside forces have changed me. And I don’t know how to get the old me back. I don’t think it will ever happen without an open acknowledgement of what they tried to do to everyone and a commitment to never do it yet a third time. Right. I’m so cynical now that I know for certain there will be a third attempted holocaust once enough time has passed.
You’re definitely not alone, CTC. Sorry for the rant. The people here are the only people who actually get it.

I didn’t believe that she had sex with 1000 men in 24 hours. There are only 1440 minutes in 24 hours. That’s one man ejaculating every 86 seconds. They’d have to be primed to go almost upon entry. And let’s not even begin the discussion of how raw she’d be after only 4 hours of sex. I think not, unless she was anesthetized. If it really happened, she was likely a raw piece of meat at the end and created enough scar tissue that she’ll be numb to sensation for the rest of her life. I’m inclined to believe it didn’t happen, but people play stupid games all the time and win stupid prizes.

I believe it is. The beauty of it is that many things that keep us healthy and protect us can be found in nature. God knew that humans needed purpose, so he put it all here and it should have been part of our purpose to find it and use it or make it useful. I’m in awe!

AI making up cases can get lawyers fired, scandalized law firm warns

Morgan & Morgan—which bills itself as “America’s largest injury law firm” that fights “for the people”—learned the hard way this month that even one lawyer blindly citing AI-hallucinated case law can risk sullying the reputation of an entire nationwide firm.
In a letter shared in a court filing, Morgan & Morgan’s chief transformation officer, Yath Ithayakumar, warned the firms’ more than 1,000 attorneys that citing fake AI-generated cases in court filings could be cause for disciplinary action, including “termination.”
“This is a serious issue,” Ithayakumar wrote. “The integrity of your legal work and reputation depend on it.”
Morgan & Morgan’s AI troubles were sparked in a lawsuit claiming that Walmart was involved in designing a supposedly defective hoverboard toy that allegedly caused a family’s house fire. Despite being an experienced litigator, Rudwin Ayala, the firm’s lead attorney on the case, cited eight cases in a court filing that Walmart’s lawyers could not find anywhere except on ChatGPT.
These “cited cases seemingly do not exist anywhere other than in the world of Artificial Intelligence,” Walmart’s lawyers said, urging the court to consider sanctions.
So far, the court has not ruled on possible sanctions. But Ayala was immediately dropped from the case and was replaced by his direct supervisor, T. Michael Morgan, Esq. Expressing “great embarrassment” over Ayala’s fake citations that wasted the court’s time, Morgan struck a deal with Walmart’s attorneys to pay all fees and expenses associated with replying to the errant court filing, which Morgan told the court should serve as a “cautionary tale” for both his firm and “all firms.”
Reuters found that lawyers improperly citing AI-hallucinated cases have scrambled litigation in at least seven cases in the past two years. Some lawyers have been sanctioned, including an early case last June fining lawyers $5,000 for citing chatbot “gibberish” in filings. And in at least one case in Texas, Reuters reported, a lawyer was fined $2,000 and required to attend a course on responsible use of generative AI in legal applications. But in another high-profile incident, Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s former lawyer, avoided sanctions after Cohen accidentally gave his own attorney three fake case citations to help his defense in his criminal tax and campaign finance litigation.
In a court filing, Morgan explained that Ayala was solely responsible for the AI citations in the Walmart case. No one else involved “ had any knowledge or even notice” that the errant court filing “contained any AI-generated content, let alone hallucinated content,” Morgan said, insisting that had he known, he would have required Ayala to independently verify all citations.
.....Andrew Perlman, dean of Suffolk University’s law school, advocates for responsible AI use in court and told Reuters that lawyers citing ChatGPT or other AI tools without verifying outputs is “incompetence, just pure and simple.”
