The ATF tries to save DEI and gets caught
American Thinker ^ | 25 Jan, 2025 | Mike McDaniel

It’s not going to be fast or easy to eliminate a cancer that has not only been allowed, but encouraged, to spread in the federal government.

I’ll not take any credit for predicting federal agencies would do anything to retain their DEI bureaucracies. And why wouldn’t they? Even if their administrators weren’t DEI true believers, and most probably were, DEI gave them unprecedented and totalitarian control over the lives of their employees--more power than they imagined--and unrestrained virtue signaling opportunities. By claiming DEI was essential to their missions, they would be invited to DC cocktail parties and praised by equally dimwitted bureaucrats. The ego boosting was incalculable. Recently, in Bye, bye DEI, I wrote:

We’ve learned merely mandating the decommissioning of DEI bureaucracies isn’t enough. DEI bureaucrats, true believers all, usually with the help of dim-witted and even malicious administrators, have adopted the subterfuge of rebranding. Giving new titles to their DEI offices and functionaries, they’re trying to keep their racist, hate-filled policies and Marxist thugs in place while pretending to obey the law.

It will be no surprise to learn the ATF, an agency sane Americans have been trying to abolish for decades, leads the pack:

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives appeared to try and avoid Donald Trump's anti-DEI executive order by switching the job title of its Chief Diversity Officer.

On Tuesday, Trump's administration ordered federal agencies to place all Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) hires on paid leave pending review and warned authorities not to use 'coded or imprecise language' to circumvent the move.

But within a day of the order being announced, eagle-eyed online sleuths noticed the ATF's Chief Diversity Officer Lisa T. Boykin had a new job title, appearing to have been updated...

All of those Patriots in government dealing with these DEI/LIB nitwits needs to read up on sociopathy so they can deal with them more effectively. They are sociopaths.

You can put the ATF in the hopper along with FEMA and the IRS.

What the heck does a ‘chief Dei officer’ do?

I am not sure what they do or what the pay is at the federal level. I've read articles that DEI heads at a few major universities pull in $300K+ and have large staffs.

It’s not enough to discover this insubordination.

I want to read an article about what the administration is doing about it.

And I’d like to read that article in a timely manner.

Chained titles but still makes $250K for checking boxes.

Agencies are not the DEI problem.

Very specific people are the problem.

Those very specific people must be found and destroyed to the point where exile is preferable to living in an America they can’t tolerate

What needs to happen is to repurpose the ATF to take guns away from criminals while at the same time leaving law abiding citizens alone

Unfortunately, that will NEVER happen. Look at the Canadian Firearms Program for example.
The RCMP is tasked with administering this, and yet every year, the number of restricted and prohibited firearms increases. Not just by "Orders in Council" (the equivalent of an Executive Order in the US) but also in a list published by the Chief Firearms Officer under his/her discretion.

This list has grown by leaps and bounds for years, yet there seems to be no end to the new additions to the list.

Some of the latest additions have been perfectly legal for literally a hundred years, yet are now on the prohibited list at the whim of a bureaucrat ostensibly based in Nova Scotia.

The ONLY people that this list affects are the legal and law-abiding citizens who own these tools, the criminals have ignored the law since it went into effect.

The most interesting factoid I have learned about the Canadian Firearms Registry is that even though there has been a handgun registry since the 1930s, the total number of violent crimes that has been solved through its use is a staggering ZERO! A few *procedural* crimes (forgetting to put the trigger lock on etc) have been prosecuted, but not one actual violent act has been detected or resolved through this Registry's existence and use.

Don't put up with this nonsense any more, either defang or eliminate your ATF, or suffer the same fate as your Northern Neighbour.

Yep, of course. Get the names of all the DEI teams, see how has a title change and is still employed. Then fire them as well as whomever gave them a new title. Unless you get to the rot, things will be no different.

These people think they’re clever, when they’re fools.

Eliminate the ATF. Give the FBI something to do other than raiding churches and school board meetings.

We need to do the same thing with the corporate structure of our private companies as well. Bring to light the hiding of these departments and individuals as they try to slither back under their rocks and wait out the storm.

Rip them out...root and stem.

The left is going to twist itself into knots to keep DEI going - when “CRT” was called out as racist and discriminatory, it was morphed into DEI and ESG - same policies, different initials.

We must keep a sharp eye out, file lawsuits, etc. to keep this out of our schools, businesses and government.

America First Legal, which specializes in discrimination cases, is going to have its hands full:

I wonder if this grifter got a pay raise being “downgraded” from Chief DEI Officer, to Senior Executive?
