The most important thing to know about Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley is that she is the first LGBTQ fire chief in the history of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It’s also the only thing worth knowing about the woman in charge while Los Angeles burned.

The L.A. disaster is the greatest accomplishment of DEI in Los Angeles. The whole Los Anegeles “LGBT community” should celebrate how their “identity” is their greatest “accomplishment”, no matter how tragic that is.

i have to say the complicated and multi-part ongoing LAFD fire effort is going smoothly integrating many outside fire companies, air assets, firefighters - so that bears mentioning. we here in LA hope that continues over the critical next days.
After a long process, we got rid of them and the Corps was cleaned up. That is, until they became "normal" and we were back to Square One.
Come on, there’s a lot to be grateful for:
LA lost a lot of buildings, businesses, thousands of pricey mansions, historic enclaves, 23 dead citizens, men who know how to fight fires, billions in tax revenue, but on the bright side, it gained a lot of lesbian fire chiefs being paid 6-figure salaries, plus perks.
The LAFD lost a lot but its DEI hires know how to actively pursue diversity, inclusion, and all that important pronoun stuff.
They now have a Mayor who is an honorary citizen of Third World country
and a Governor who’s looking for a job.
Evil.
And our species in general.
They ought to send all the lesbians back to Lebanon or at least the Isle of Lesbos!
