WOW a whole 2 feet of snow. Big stinking deal.
AND TOILET PAPER!!!
Gosh, we used to call it “winter”
One of my daughters is in central Kansas. So far, they’re calling for 10”-16”.
I have lived in Buffalo for 64 years. Not ONCE have they ever named a storm. But if they did, they would name it Bruno, or Rocco or Nick. “Blair” would be a dusting on the sidewalks.
Don’t forget a dozen eggs and a few rolls of TP!
Milk.
Bread.
Eggs.
TP.
My BFF up in the DC area went out to get some supplies this morning and said it was CRAZY in the stores. She gassed up the car too, but said the gas station wasn’t too crowded.
It starting to snow just north of KC now. I doubt the folks in the west/Midwest get their panties in a wad over winter. We never did last year. Besides you can always lick the glue off of the Formica on the counter tops. 😁
* “monstrous winter storm”
* “heavy snow, strong winds and freezing rain”
* “blizzard-like conditions due to heavy snow and strong winds”
* “wintry mix”
* “wind gusts”
* “hefty winter storm”
Who hired this crappy writer??? Where’s “Polar Vortex” and “Bomb Cyclone”? Where’s the hyperbole and bombast. This just reads like an ordinary weather article.
I cannot express enough how disappointed I am.
Based on the weather maps, this storm just got a whole lot worse and much bigger than originally forecast. There are blizzard warnings up for parts of the US and a HUGE swath of icing and freezing precipitation forecast.

I wish these left-wing moonbats would knock it off with the naming of winter storms.

How are you guys faring?
Oh noes! We’re doomed. A winter storm in winter!
Appropriate that the “snowflake” generation has begun to name winter snowstorms.
Go out tonight and buy your milk and bread!
The milk is out in the barn and the flour is in the basement. Ropes were strung between the house and outbuildings at the end of November.
Almost like we had lived through winters before. :)
We have to drive from Houston to Lubbock on Monday for a Tuesday Funeral. I am not looking forward to the Wednesday drive back.
I’ll be damned...it’s winter.
Now, they are saying that this storm is going to affect DC pretty hard on Monday. Since that is January 6, id it going to affect the electoral college tally that day? I wonder how many Congress people are going to be able to get to the Capitol to do it. Will they have to postpone it if they don’t have enough in Congress to certify it?
“...winter storm Blair” ????
When did we start giving names to winter storms?
