NEW ORLEANS - New Orleans Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick, who has been giving public updates on the tragedy on Bourbon Street that killed 10 on New Year's Eve, may look familiar to those in the Bay Area.
That's because she served as Oakland's police chief from 2017 to 2020.
She was the city's first female police chief.
Kirkpatrick was fired three years later by an independent commission.
She sued, claiming wrongful termination for exposing corruption and abuse of power within the department and received a $1.5- million dollar settlement.
She was hired by New Orleans in 2023.

Another DEI appointment?
LOL! Right on.
LOL, OK, that’s funny right there!
If you were going to pull off a terrorist attack, New Orleans would be a good place to try it. The entire administration, including the police force, is screwed up and incompetent from top to bottom.
I haven’t listened to her at all. I can’t get past her Clown Uniform and grandmother appearance. It’s no wonder the citizens of New Orleans are fked.
She did such a great job in Oakland......................
You bet it’s DEI.
A DEI hire hired HER:
“Superintendent, New Orleans Police Kirkpatrick was appointed interim superintendent of the New Orleans Police Department by Mayor LaToya Cantrell in September 2023, and after confirmation by the city council was sworn in as Superintendent in November 2023.”
AND in 2024 SHE hit two pedestrians ON BURBON STREET! WHAT???!!!
I will give the mayor of New Orleans a bit of credit. She quickly - and correctly - identified the incident as a terrorist attack.
The public had a right know.
Meanwhile, the FBI was running around with their thumbs up their *****.

Well, she came out smelling like a rose in Oakland......got shitcanned and ended up 1.5 million dollars richer......pretty neat trick if you ask me.
Agree....another friggin’ token.

She was making a left turn in her neighborhood, said "she didnt see them."
Meanwhile....on another FR thread nick-named 'the FRQ':
“(1 past retirement) women”
If your referring to Kirkpatrick.....she’s only 65 dude.....I know she looks 80 but no.
Almost every person I know in any job was retired by 65.
And that would have to be a few hundred.
