The governor said last week on his Politickin' podcast that he had attempted to reach out to President-elect Donald Trump after the election but did not get a response. Newsom confirmed to KCRA 3 Thursday that he still had not heard from him.

Marin County? I quick story about it. I drove my older step-sister cross country in the early 80's. She had a gf that moved to San Fran years before. I needed to get my car on the ferry to Pearl. Anyway symbiotic. Fun. Her friend had numerous cute other friends. I digress.

In San Marin, I pulled my Chevy Malibu right side onto the curbing of a lovely community. The oil pan and wrench in the trunk came out. I knew I was driving her 3000 miles over the rockies. Bought new filter and 5 quarts before I left NY. So,,,a lot of folks slow drove past me in that 15 minutes and looked very concerned. I think they were worried what I was going to do with the waste.
