Military use can be justified in several different ways for this task. It’s got to be done.

This will give Ann Coulter a writer’s block, making it hard to figure out how to fuss at Trump.

Operation Wetvback 1954

In June, command teams of 12 Border Patrol agents, buses, planes, and temporary processing stations began locating, processing, and deporting Mexicans who had illegally entered the United States. A total of 750 immigration and border patrol officers and investigators; 300 jeeps, cars and buses; and seven airplanes were allocated for the operation. Teams were focused on quick processing, as planes were able to coordinate with ground efforts and quickly deport people into Mexico. Those deported were handed off to Mexican officials, who in turn moved them into central Mexico where there were many labor opportunities. While the operation included the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago, its main targets were border areas in Texas and California.

Overall, there were 1,074,277 "returns", defined as "confirmed movement of an inadmissible or deportable alien out of the United States not based on an order of removal" in the first year of Operation Wetback. This included many workers without papers who fled to Mexico fearing arrest; over half a million from Texas alone. The total number of sweeps fell to just 242,608 in 1955, and continuously declined each year until 1962, when there was a slight rise in apprehended workers. Despite the decline in sweeps, the total number of Border Patrol agents more than doubled to 1,692 by 1962, and an additional plane was added to the force.

General Westly Clark Found a work around for Waco. FBI didn’t have the armored vehicles they wanted so he gave them to the National Guard who gave them to the FBI.

That’s what I heard anyway. It’s been a few weeks since then.

He hasn’t even done anything yet and the AZHOSCLU is already filing a lawsuit against America for their Illegal Alien “Cousin Eddies”. Hopefully, Trump will bring charges against them for aiding and abetting foreign invaders. Sue their asses off. Commie maggots.

The 1807 Insurrection Act supersedes Posse Comitatus.

10 U.S.C. § 252. Use of militia and armed forces to enforce Federal authority

Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion.

First Trump has to invoke §254 and order all illegals to leave in a certain timeframe. When the clock runs out, he can sick the active duty military on those who remain.

You can get around the Posse Comitatus Act by embedding LEO and BP in with the regular army. The army detains and the BP makes the official arrest. It all works out.

Not unprecedented.

Sent troops to disband the WW1 bonus army veterans.

Roosevelt calls out National Guard to remove Sewell Avery from Montgomery Wards and orders Sec. of War to seize Monkey Wards plants all over the nation - this was during WW2 and that was used as his excuse...interference into the war effort.

Eisenhower sent 101st Airborne to Little Rock in 1957...but he first invoked the Insurrection Act.

not included in that story are those detained under the Enemy Alien Control Program

Woodrow Wilson’s internment of German US Citizens in WW1 in miliary bases.

And FDR’s internment of Japanese and German US Citizens in WW2.
