CNN’s Bakari Sellers floated the idea of President Biden replacing Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor with Vice President Kamala Harris before President-elect Donald Trump can be sworn into office.
"CNN News Central" host John Berman asked Sellers about concerns among Democrats regarding Trump and the Republican majority in the Senate potentially replacing Sotomayor, the third-oldest member of the Supreme Court.
Sellers argued Sotomayor should step down so Biden and the current Democratic majority can replace her in the months before Trump’s inauguration to ensure another liberal justice on the court.
"You know, Justice Sotomayor has been a more than able justice. I know that she may be having some personal issues that she contends with while serving on the bench. But, you know, I don’t want Justice Sotomayor to be another Ruth Bader Ginsburg in terms of staying too long," Sellers said. "And so I hope that Joe Biden makes the next ten weeks as consequential as he can. I don’t care about drawing outside the lines or what Republicans may think about it. This is within your purview. You can actually do it and you should do it. And you know, one more thing, John, is you have a hell of a vice president right there who has a legal pedigree to sit on the Supreme Court. And let Republicans go crazy, ape, I’m even mentioning that option."

A Supreme Court justice is a demanding position requiring brains. How would someone who was pushing someone as mentally deficient as Kamala Harris to become President even know what a Supreme Court justice is supposed to do?
Kamala is completely unqualified to be a Supreme Court justice.
Why doesn’t CNN replace Wallace with Harris.
My guess is Obama is floating this because he needs a job and doesn’t want to move out of DC.

But how bad would it be for Sotomayor to step down and then Harris just gets absolutely destroyed during any confimation hearings..

A person like CNN’s Bakari Sellers, who argues that Justice Sonia Sotomayor should be replaced by Kamala Harris, exhibits an IQ value that is represented by an imaginary number.
The democrats and lamestream media pundits have been backpedaling on the “ Biden rule” since Trump’s first term, a “rule” that was used against George Bush to prevent a President from nominating a USSC justice in a Pres election year.
This Senate “ rule” stopped the obama nomination of Merrick Garland from being considered……as cited by McConnelll….prob because the democrats expected Hillary to win ( boy did we dodge 2 bullets there)
I just don’t see the GOP or even McConnell in his final dotage…from folding to Biden or Schumer to “advise and consent” on giving Kamala Harris a rushed USSC seat as a consolation prize
But watch for treachery from the uniparty establishment as the GOP holds a “ secret” vote for the new Senate Majority leader this Wed
