The White House reportedly pulled the plug on multiple campaign calls that were scheduled to include President Biden in the aftermath of his “garbage” remark aimed at supporters of former President Donald Trump, according to a report.
“Thursday, October 31, 2024: In the afternoon, the President will participate in campaign calls,” read the White House’s public week ahead guidance published on Sunday.
Biden, 81, did not participate in those calls, according to Fox News.
It’s unclear if the organizations hosting the Zoom calls went ahead without the president.
There are no official campaign events for Vice President Kamala Harris on Biden’s schedule ahead of Election Day.
The White House did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.
Biden’s Tuesday call with Voto Latino made headlines after the president referred to Trump supporters as “garbage” in the wake of a Madison Square Garden rally for the GOP nominee.
“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden said in response to a comedian at the rally likening Puerto Rico to a “floating island of garbage.”
The commander in chief later claimed that he was only referring to the comedian’s joke, and the White House quickly altered the stenographer’s official transcript of the call to add an apostrophe to “supporter’s.”

If the governing class focused more of their time fixing the country instead of trying to get rid of someone who isn’t a member of their club, we would be in good shape. We all have to remember that Trump isn’t an apparatchik or a member of the politburo. He is truly one of us, who actually used his power and money to build things that benefitted society, albeit for the wealthy.
I now understand why Biden and Harris needed and wanted to stay in the basement. They are vile, disgusting and evil people who hate our country and every citizen that won’t bend the knee. It’s impossible for them to hide those feelings. I’m praying everyday the good Lord drop kicks them out the door.
