Not as bad as that, but we interviewed a gal yesterday who literally orated that she was “above average.”
I said that it’s a good thing that I wasn’t doing the interview, because I’d have been looking around the office to offer her a trophy.

She needs to customize her resume to the specific job.
It is hard to "customize" for a first job. One big beef I have is that no one wants to take in-person applications anymore. Everything is "Go to 'wendys.com/jobs'." Those application sites are a BLACK HOLE. Tattoo lady with a couple of past jobs has a better chance for the next level than my daughter under those circumstances.

20 and can't find a job? She's definitely a "non go getter".
Construction and lawncare is hiring. Even lawncare needs people in the office! Walmart, dollar general.
She needs to learn how to get out of bed, get ready and show up on time for any job..
i have never been as unemployed as when I was unemployed.
Nobody wants to hire a deadbeat or someone who's too good for the job they're offering.
Once i got a job- any job, and worked it for 5-6 months I got all kinds of interviews and call backs.
good company's will poach someone who shows some work ethics and is already employed in a heart beat!!- you have to start in a crappy job for a crappy company and work your way up.
