The nose ring is just another fad. Just like my wife took our daughter (now 40) to get a belly button ring back when she was a teenager. Fortunately, she never got any Tats.

The "fad" has lasted 14 years or so. Also, the dying of hair to match flavors of Gatorade is jarring.
