During a campaign stop in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump visited a McDonald's and learned how to make fries at a branch in Feasterville-Trevose in Bucks County.
On Sunday, the Republican presidential nominee held an impromptu press conference through the drive-thru's window. Trump, known for his love of fast food, used the opportunity to attack Harris over claims she never worked at a fast food chain during her college years. The vice president has previously said she worked at a McDonald's as a student at Howard University in Washington.
However, rumors have been circulating on social media that Trump's visit to McDonald's was "staged."

The ‘staged’ events are all of Harris’ fake phone calls, with the Obamas, FEMA, etc.
What does he mean by “staged”? Of course Trump doesn’t work there. Of course the whole thing was designed to create anxiety and uncertainty with kamala and the media. Trump knows what to do to get them rattled, and he obviously succeeded.
It’s fun listening to the left lose their minds over it.
Of course it wasn’t. He was just driving down the street and told the driver “pull over here, this one looks good.” Then he took off his bullet proof vest and told his SS detail “You guys wait here. I’ll be back in eight hours when my shift is over.” He spent the first four hours filling out HR forms like Everyman, and got a couple hours training how to run the fry cooker and fill fry boxes.
“Staged”? How utterly ridiculous.
Staged? You mean planned ahead of time? You mean as opposed to just spontaneously stopping in to a random McDonald’s and start manning the fry station and the drive-through?
Leftists are SO stupid.
Lets see after 3 attempts on his life what do you think stupid
The author “name redacted “ was under the impression that President Trump applied and got hired by McDonalds ?
Look for this idiot to be walz’ running mate in 2028
Gee, ya think? A former president and his secret service detail waltz into a fast food joint and take over the deep fry station every day! Of course it was staged, dumb ass.
Whew, need a Lysol shower after scanning through the comments at the article. Come on, it was a brilliant move, hilarious and probably gained a few votes from the younger crowd.
All that while K was telling someone in the crowd he was at the wrong rally when he yelled, “Jesus is Lord.” Yikes, did she spill the fries with that snark. She’s all over the news this morning with her getting all Christian at last night’s rally. Not only does she fake policies and accents but now she’s fakes religions. Liar, liar, pants on fire.
Of course it was staged. I doubt Trump went through the normal application and training process. Not many media show up for every temp employee’s job at McDonalds.
Did he really do the work? Yes, even more probably than regular staff usually do. I know how “fast” fast food crews really are.
I smell Pulitzer!
That’s how many people got their first job back in the day.
Can’t have too many crew working hours that mean they qualify for benefits.
So what? Trump made a valid point that Kamala lied about working at MC D’s.
As opposed to what, Trump apply for and actually work and get paid for the job?? Liberals are idiots.
Yes
Aren’t most political on site actions ?
Pretty sure my eyes actually saw him serving at the drive thru?
The fact Newsweak is whining about this shows how effective this was for the Trump campaign. Plus, Trump’s enthusiasm wasn’t staged. Everybody, including the media, knows Trump loves McDonald’s and eats their food quite often!
I hope he washed his hands before starting the shift.
Sounds like sour grapes to me. Kamala should have had her staff do some research—teach her about making fries and flipping burgers, and stage such as even—showing how she “remembers” making fries without burning herself. Better yet show some scars from burning herself on the machine—”battle Scars” so to speak. But too late now—Trump stole her thunder—brilliant marketing on Donald’s part—and also great PR for McDonald’s nation wide.
