Anyone here have the skills to produce a posting form enhancer like thee one Freeper cynwoody posted here years ago.

Had to reload my PC and when I went to cywoody's page to reload the posting enhancer the add-on link is dead. He disappeared from FR years ago but the page remained. Now, his page is there but the link to the add-on is dead.

I loved that add-on and used it for years. I am not smart enough to create it so I'm hoping one of our coders here would take on the job. I know a lot of Freepers use it, too.

TLS. I provided an answer with an active link to Pollard's home page. I am using the enhancer right now....I have no reason to click the "Click to download" link again so could not have known it was a dead link.

Does it help if you go to the post in question, then right-click on “View Page Source”, then try to clone/modify?

I got the actual script from the link skr suggested. It is a java script and I don’t know Java. Looking for a way to get it to load as an add-on.

Never mind, when I clicked on the link you provided, it gave me a server error. When I just now clicked on the arrowhead to the right of the link it brought up that link I provided. So, my guess it that Firefox got rid of it because they are not friendly to this site. Either way, it is no longer going to be available, because that was something he created apparently.

The above link is to the appl Is it down. and that is the status. It may be down for maintenance, if you are lucky. If you are not lucky the app no longer exists at Firefox. I suspect the latter is the correct answer, but keep trying to see if it is down only for maintenance only.
