A tropical storm is expected to form in the northwest Caribbean Sea or southern Gulf of Mexico and eventually head toward either Florida or the northern Gulf Coast late this week, but details on its potential intensity, track and timing remain uncertain.

Interests along the entire U.S. Gulf Coast should continue to monitor the situation closely and stay updated on how the forecast unfolds in the days ahead.

“Panic now!!!”

Panic? Not necessarily, but if you live dead in the middle of the current projected path like I do you’re an idiot if you’re not thinking about your preps. Will it change course? Maybe, maybe not. Will it be just a big thunderstorm? Maybe, maybe not. But I won’t be sitting in the dark watching my freezer full of meat spoil because I didn’t have enough propane (I run my generator on propane).

For all here to get some perspective on this weather.com (!!!!climate change freaks) so called “forecast”. They need the “warm water” due to climate change to make a storm— when it may just be another pile of rain.

Here is the 7 day “forecast area of impact” of a not yet formed or even showing circular Coriolis Effect motion. Notice the “area of impact/direction” is nearly the entire Gulf of Mexico.

I live in coastal central Florida and stop stocking my freezer in May.
Almost october and my freezer is down to a few chickens some rib and pork cuts and home grown vegetables I didn’t can.
Eat it down all summer.
I run just run 1 fridge and the freezer 8am to 10 pm during hurricane outages

I run my generator for about 10 hours at night. In addition to the refrigerator I run a window unit a/c. Can’t sleep in the heat.

Man, they are really reaching on this one! Like you said, a disturbance of rain.

That goofball fanatic Mann predicted 33 named storms.

That should be for every hurricane season not just the forecast path of this particular storm.

Why so many FL residents seem to not be prepared for every hurricane season is beyond me.

Hurricanes are a given in the Atlantic. It's just when and where and how bad. And since you never know, the best option is to always be ready. That way you can sit back and clean your guns or something productive, instead of fighting the crowds for water, food, and gas that's all running out because nobody else is ready.

Heck, the worst we get in NY and NH is a rough winter. And I'm ready for that. EVERY YEAR.

My wife asked me if I had heard of this.   We'll get the rain, and we need it.

We need it thanks to the Climate Change fraudsters, cloud seeding for the Globalist Agribusiness concerns to steal our rain.
