It was surprising to hear that in 2016 because Trump was far down in the polls.
Are political signs being used like they used to be? Are people (especially Trumpers, afraid of getting attacked if they put up a Trump sign?) I myself have nothing more than an American flag up. I'm in a "mixed" neighborhood (50% Hispanic and other).
I live in a conservative area east of Phoenix. I'm not seeing anything but local races signs and Senate race signs. Not much in the way of bumper stickers either. I saw one banner promoting RFK on one house in my 200 house subdivision, nothing else.
I don’t have a Trump bumper sticker or sign in my yard. Most of the people here in my little county don’t. But it’s not because the support isn’t there. It’s because of the irrational and violent responses they can evoke from Democrat Harris supporters, plain and simple.
We’re still gonna vote for him on November 5, and I still have my “I’m voting for the Felon” T-shirt I sometimes wear (when I have my weapon with me in the truck).
Well, you spelled it right.
Along the main highway from 40 miles north and 40 miles south of my location there were a total of ... three ... plus one large one buried amongst several large ones in a field.
Almost no signage of any kind in metro Atlanta. A few Trump signs up near our rural compound.
Yeah, at least I’ve got that going for me. :-)
South Central and South Eastern Ohio...a good number of Trump signs have been around for a couple months or more; but, less than 2016 or 2020.
Only recently have we started seeing Harris signage, and in far fewer numbers than the Trump signage.
Orlando/Windermere area I’ve seen no signs for president. But I’m not the most observant guy around.
North East Volusia County, Florida, fewer signs all around than in previous years, but Trump signs outnumber Harris signs.
When McCain was running, I never saw a McCain sign. When he got Palin on board, they were everywhere.
That’s what I always thought too. But there’s a house near me that has an American flag and a Harris/Walz sign in the yard.
One hopes, although I have this sinking feeling that Sideshow Bob is going to take over.
In the urban parts of the country, a Trump sign is an open invitation to having your house burned down with you inside...
Which is why, although many others have Trump signs, we never put up political signs.
Few and far between for either candidate. Guess nobody wants to get swotted.
Here behind enemy lines in MS, it is the only course old people, like my wife & I, have...
Our county uses 3 county fairs to celebrate @ present, 2 rural areas and one a kind of a fantasy rural area.
Past bumper stickers at these fairs have done a good job re projecting who will get the most votes and win that year in the 3 areas.
We don’t live in a rural part of the county. We have lived here since 1977, and the two main streets in town have predicted the winners until the last election. There are basically no political signs or bumper stickers on those 2 streets, this year or last year
Just following up on my earlier post. Was in Ogdensburg, NY this morning and saw two Trump signs plus a few for Elise Stefanik (as this is in NY’s 21st congressional district). But nothing at all for Harris.
Driving across the state of NC recently, all we saw were numerous Trump signs, banners and a couple home-made billboards. Also vehicles adorned in full-sized Trump flags.
2016 was the same way.
Trump signs everywhere.Saw one small Harris sign.Bucks County Pa
