It was surprising to hear that in 2016 because Trump was far down in the polls.
Are political signs being used like they used to be? Are people (especially Trumpers, afraid of getting attacked if they put up a Trump sign?) I myself have nothing more than an American flag up. I'm in a "mixed" neighborhood (50% Hispanic and other).
I live in a conservative area east of Phoenix. I'm not seeing anything but local races signs and Senate race signs. Not much in the way of bumper stickers either. I saw one banner promoting RFK on one house in my 200 house subdivision, nothing else.
I for one am afraid of putting out a Trump yard sign. The wackos on the left will probably burn down my house. This may be the feeling of many Trump supporters. And the reason one doesn’t see many Trump sighs displayed.
Amazon Prime has a nice assortment of Trump signs with free delivery.
No Trump bumper stickers because cars get keyed or tires flatened
There are a number of Harris/Walz lawn signs popping up in the People’s Socialist Kakistocracy of Austin.
I give those homeowners an extra-wide berth since they could either be TDS-metastasized-batcrap-crazy, have shoe-sized IQs, or be home-grown terrorists bent on giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States.
Here in North Georgia it is mostly Trump signs.
Very few H/w.
Orogoonian?
Alabama....almost all Trump signs. Though I have seen maybe 3 Harris signs at homes in nice neighborhoods (what are they thinking???)
There is one large billboard saying vote for Kamala “for freedom” with a giant picture of of her cackling face on it. It’s near the entrance to one of the local housing projects.
Trump will win this state easily, so I’m not worried at all.
I think many people are afraid to post Trump signs. It would be dangerous.
In fact, I am reluctant to put a Trump sign on my car for that very reason. I did in past elections, didn't care what anybody said or did. Today it's an entirely different situation. The anti-Trump people are dangerous and scary.
I live in the area just south of Tacoma and I get all over the Tacoma area, especially to the East and to the South. I’ve seen at least five or six large Trump/ Vance signs on houses, but I’ve only seen one Harris/Walz sign.
I see more signs for the Governor’s race. I’ve seen a whole mess of Reichert(R) signs, but only two Ferguson(D) signs.
I don’t think it’s a good measure to compare to 2016 because you could have a chump sign and not be attacked and called a Nazi and all the crazy stuff so I think most people just are silent and we’ll do the thing at the ballot box
There is one right around the corner from me in Ft. Walton.
It is surrounded by Trump signs up and down the street...........
Plenty of Trump signs and flags waving in Central Valley of California. I’ve yet to see a single Harris flag, sign or bumper sticker. But, of course, the Central Valley is another universe from the Bay Area.
I see a surprising number of Trump signs here in NH and VT of all places.
Southern NH. On my daily drives to drop off and pick up my son at school: 20+ Trump signs; 3 Harris signs; 100’s of state and local republican signs; dozens of state and local communisticrat signs. Definitely running Pro-American by 10-1. But come election day the 8-10,000 out of state students from NY and NJ will vote for Kamala and the Commiecrats for Congress.
Do you think Reichert will win?
Trump supporters don’t want to become targeted by the rabid left.
Undoubtedly true ... and irrelevant.
WA is DEM. I’ll vote of course, but it won’t matter except occasionally down ballot.
I’ll wave on my way by to PDX this afternoon!
A fair number of signs for local elections, a few for Harris, almost none for Trump. When I talk to my neighbors I hear them voice a lot of support for Trump, but it’s the “look around first to see who’s listening before they say anything out loud” kind of support. They still remember the “mostly peaceful” summer of 2020 and aren’t eager to get their cars keyed or their houses vandalized again.
I have to admit, the Democrats have done a great job of activating their Red Front shock troops and making everyone afraid of them.
I see Trump yard signs out here in the boonies, a number of them are huge. There are local race candidates’ signs and the Demwit candidates are unusual. The only nitwits who put up Harris-Walz signs are few and far between in Grand Rapids area.
