It was surprising to hear that in 2016 because Trump was far down in the polls.
Are political signs being used like they used to be? Are people (especially Trumpers, afraid of getting attacked if they put up a Trump sign?) I myself have nothing more than an American flag up. I'm in a "mixed" neighborhood (50% Hispanic and other).
I live in a conservative area east of Phoenix. I'm not seeing anything but local races signs and Senate race signs. Not much in the way of bumper stickers either. I saw one banner promoting RFK on one house in my 200 house subdivision, nothing else.
San Francisco: a mere handful of Harris. No Trump. Nobody wants to get themselves killed.
Not one Harris sign, lots of Trump flags and signs in the surroundings towns. Atlantic County NJ.
Here is Tucson it varies a bit on the area but Trump yard signs seem to be more numerous. However, I am seeing more Harris bumper stickers as opposed to yard signs.
I was running in East Hill (Pensacola) yesterday, and I saw several Trump signs. I did, however, see one sign saying “Harris Walz . . . Obviously.” What a stuck-up thing to say. I felt like ripping the sign out and running it to the nearest dumpster, but I’m not a leftist. Let that horrible sign stay in the yard so the neighbors can see what kind of people they REALLY are.
In my town in northwest Indiana (one of the blue spots in the state) I have seen one Harris/Walz sign. One guy who always displays a Trump flag and a Trump sign on his house and conservative stickers on his pickup truck, has those. I was in south suburban Chicago this week and saw nothing.
I live in a small midwest college town.
I see no signs for either.
I suspect it is because a lot of Democrats are going to vote Trump this time and don’t want it known, and a lot of conservatives are afraid to put up signs because of mostly peaceful left-wing vandals.
I say we take off and nuke Clark and Washoe Counties from orbit.
It’s the only way to be sure.
The three southeastern most counties in Michigan on the Ohio border are heavily Trump. Signs are all over. Harris signs are rare. There are even UAW and Trump signs in the same yard
Just had this convo about signs with my brother who drove up through the ritzier areas of Lucas (Waterville, Holland, etc) and Fulton counties in Ohio last night. Harris signs are everywhere. He said it was depressing.
Favorite sign...Want to stay poor. Vote Democrate.
Northern New Jersey is covered with Trump signs, Blue state.
I don’t see many signs here in the heart of PDJT Country (northern PB County). People are probably too worried about vandalism.
No boat parades either. Hope some are planned.
Can you give me a minute to get up to Virginia City?
Delaware County, PA. A few of both Trump and Harris signs, less than usual at this point in the election.
Based upon my Neighborhood - Kamala is coming in 3rd place.
Behind Donald Trump and Garage Sale.
Absolutely. After all, as Reagan said, it begins in 5 minutes, not immediately. :-)
Neighbor (Oregone) has a Harris/ Walz sign up...we kinda already knew they were idiots..now it is confirmed. On the other hand lots of Trump signs in rural Oregon.
Signs are meaningless. Keeping a close eye and firm hand on swing state, blue big city polling centers 11/05 is everything.
Very few.
I think many are going grey-man right now.
Head down and powder dry.
If I go to the Ogdensburg, NY area either this Sunday or next, I will have to check. I recall back at this time in 2004 seeing lots of Bush/Cheney signs while on the way to a visit to the Cooperstown area.
The signs like in my hood that you don’t see should give you a clue;-)
