Fear porn since cinnamon has many health benefits.
Ya'll stop taking that cinnamon, now, ya hear.
We need you all sick, not healthy.

How many grams of cinnamon does the average person consume over, say, a year? Can’t be that much. At about 3.5 micrograms of lead per gram of the very worst cinnamon, I don’t see how anyone could ever notice any toxic effect that could be proven to result from cinnamon consumption and not from some other source of lead.

I prefer Saigon cinammon.
The flavor difference from the usual stuff is amazing.

I’m reminded of the great cranberry scare from decades ago. It turned out that if you ate 3 boxcar loads that your chances of getting cancer would be increased. The scare was reported before Thanksgiving and the truth wasn’t revealed until way after New Years.

Grind your own Cinnamon Bark!
To: nickcarraway
Grind your own. You can get sticks from a reputable source and freshly ground is far, far, better as well as less expensive than all but the cheapest and oldest crap.
Any spice you can buy whole and grind as needed will always be far fresher tasting.

They don't even tell which ones are Ceylon cinnamon, and which ones are Cassia. I bet they are all Cassia. Its the cheap, common alternative to real cinnamon.
