If you are worried about fine lines and wrinkles appearing on your face with some loosening of the skin, then you might just want to increase your daily coffee quota. A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology says that drinking three to five cups of coffee daily slowed down ageing of facial skin.
Research says polyphenols (compounds that are antioxidant and anti-inflammatory) present in roasted coffee may improve skin elasticity and hydration, delaying wrinkles and other signs of ageing.
According to Dr DM Mahajan, senior dermatologist at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, freshly brewed black coffee has the maximum antioxidant benefits.

I used to work with a woman (a nun who renounced it and left-—true story) who had a mug “I’m Drinking This Coffee For Your Protection.”
I at one time saved an early and more recent printed copy of Science Digest. Kept me from being credulous about science. First cover story (1980s) said to stop drinking coffee because it was proven dangerous to your health. The 2000s cover said: “Coffee proven to have health benefits and prolong life.”
Who sponsored the study? Was it Folgers by any chance?
BS I knows a gal who drinks coffee every day and has accumulated wrinkles on top of wrinkles.
If you don’t want wrinkles, be born Japanese, and stay out of the sun.
Smoking kills your skin faster then anything else.
My husband tends to confuse people with his silver hair and baby face.
And he does not drink coffee.
His dad on the other hand looked like 50 miles of bad road at the same age but he was a two pack a day smoker.
I worked in Colombia for a few years. Pure Colombian ( not blended) three, four times a day was the norm. Very low prostrate cancer and other cancers. The locals swore by it’s medicinal properties.

True, the coffee staining doesn’t bother me, ….in fact, all this tooth bleaching now a days turns me off- super white teethe tell me “ Fake”, look at me and my fake smile.

FWIW .....
I only “wash” my face, neck, and decolletage with oil. Coconut, almond, jojoba, E, or any combination of. Creams and lotions seem to sit on the skin and dry up then flake.
I’ve been known to enjoy a tobacco product every .... so often, and I drink as much vodka as coffee some days ;)
I also drink lots of green tea, lemon water, and don’t consume much sugar or processed foods of any kind. NO partially or hydrogenated oils, no seed oils, (except mayo and the very occasional packaged cracker or cookie).
Most everything is cooked from scratch, including sourdough. One ingredient foods, which is why there is never anything fun to eat in our house.
We take very carefully curated supplements, too. And, without much trying, we intermittent fast for 12-16 hours a day.
Hubs and I look at least 10 years younger than our ages and 20 years younger than so many people who are our ages.
We’re not on any meds either, except for the 2 I take related to a damaged pituitary.
