Seriously, What the Hell Is Wrong With Tucker Carlson?
PJ Media ^ | 9/4/2024 | Stephen Green

Posted on 09/04/2024 10:55:50 AM PDT by marcusmaximus

"Oops!... He Holocausted again," is one historian's take on Adolf Hitler and World War II, as presented yesterday on Tucker Carlson's X show.

-snip-

According to Cooper — and Carlson nodded along the entire time — Winston Churchill was perhaps "the chief villain of the Second World War" and "primarily responsible for that war becoming what it did."

It's true that Hitler did not want or expect Britain to fight. He wanted Britain to acquiesce to German dominance of Europe from the Urals to Gibraltar and subsume the UK to Nazi interests. This is all a matter of historical record. Britain could fight or submit — that was Hitler's choice, not Churchill's.

-snip-

As for the Holocaust — brace yourself — Hitler was just being merciful, according to Cooper. "We can’t feed these people, we don’t have the food to feed these people," Cooper imagined the Germans thinking after fighting on the Eastern Front accidentally created more prisoners and refugees than Germany could cope with. "And one of them actually says, ‘Rather than wait for them all to slowly starve this winter, wouldn’t it be more humane to just finish them off quickly now?'”

"Oopsies!" is not a valid excuse for the methodical execution (and sometimes torture) of six million Jews

when Tucker is interviewing, he’s letting them say what they’re going to say.

that’s what an interviewer is supposed to do.

otherwise, he’d be injecting his thoughts into the answers.

It’s coming from bitterness over being ostracized by the DC and Northeastern elite, and then losing his show and therefore the legacy he counted on. The blame is just shooting off in all different directions as he doesn’t want to blame the WASPs (Rupert Murdoch & co.) who had the final say in taking him out. Candace Owens is creeping into this tendency as well in her professional context.

It’s doing a great disservice to the MAGA cause at large and an even poorer reflection of Christianity. Pray they repent.

Marcymaxipad, you are on the wrong forum. You hate Trump, love the Deep State, and think the invasion of America by over 50 million invaders over the past 30 years is just great.

DU has a home for you.

Yea, have we gotten so used to blow hard Sean Hannity’s talking point rants we expect everyone to do the same? Or, if we don’t agree with the interviewee do he call him a Nazi and tell him to shut his pie hole? Sounds like MSNBC to me.

You keep on thinking that the District of Corrupion isn’t evil and that communist Jews haven’t had a hand in it along with the evil New England establishment.

I agree, but for some not pushing back =- agreeance with what is being said. They cannot distinguish that allowing people to speak their interpretation is denial of freedom of speech. Others can choose to agree with the speaker of reject the speaker. Tucker has faith in this who watch Tucker to make the correct conclusion.

In this case , it's the fact that Copper is wrong. Because the other option available to Hitler was to take them to the borders and turn them loose, while informing them that trying to return was instant death.

Presented rather dramatically and dishonestly here. If you watch the interview and the clip it’s markedly different that is presented here. It never, even once presents Hitler as a good guy and makes a point to say that the things Churchill did wrong did not make the Germans some kind of good guys.

Very interesting interview. What ACTUALLY has them pissed off are the other things said. Tucker then began exploring how Britain is totalitarian today, that peoples in Europe have lost their natural right to a home. That Germany is cucked out so badly that they tolerate *anything* in the name of the holocaust... to the point that they let known pedos adopt orphans, that they let murderous Jew haters flood the nation, etc etc.
And he points out that Churchill arrested and placed German Jewish refugees into camps for the duration and more. That the USA turned away Jewish refugees. Illustrating that the hagiography is skewed in important areas. He also said communism was the worst scourge of the century by far.

The most critical point he made about Churchill was that he was a driving force behind the Brits joining into WWI, and personally drove the post war German starvation blockade until well after the war and the war reparations...literally creating the fertile ground that spawned Hitler. THAT is why he called him that.

“primarily responsible for that war becoming what it did.”

—————————————————

This much I can agree with. Churchill was primarily responsible for the war becoming what it did. And what it did become was victory for the Allied powers.

That was why he viewed him as the “perhaps “the chief villain of the Second World War” and “primarily responsible for that war becoming what it did.”

That he was involved in the post WWI destruction of Germany.
