Day #15 of the Top 50 songs on my iTunes playlist -- ranked in reverse order by play frequency from #50 to #1 and presented here on a series of FR threads. I'm posting them here on a new thread that compiles the growing list one day at a time over the next couple of months. I only post them on weekdays and may miss a day or two here and there, so it will take at least ten weeks to do this.
And to show my gratitude to the FR management for giving us all a forum to post vanity threads like this, I'll be making a contribution for the current AND next quarterly fundraisers. I would encourage everyone on these threads to do the same! :-)
Have fun with this, folks!

Anything by the Allman Brothers peachy..............
That’s a great one for sure, right there.
Great choice!
Absolutely! I know there’s at least one other ‘Brothers tune on this list, too. :-)
It sure is! One of the last studio recordings with Duane Allman, if I remember correctly.
Great song. I saw them at the University of Florida Bandshell in my senior year in college. I worked in a research lab in the Electrical Engineering Dept and just walked over to the free concert. It was professionally filmed for what was supposed to be a new TV channel that would show concerts, an outfit called MTV. Many of the “official” videos on Youtube are from this concert. I was right in front of where Dicky Betts was standing and about 6 or 7 people back from the stage.
The band I currently rehearse and perform with has attempted to bring this one into our song list. Unfortunately it always drags. I don’t understand it. Mercifully it has faded (for now). I’d sooner hear the Allman Brothers version and leave it at that.
The Allman Brothers Band - Full Concert - 01/16/82 - University Of Florida Bandshell (OFFICIAL)
Saving for possible additions to my playlist.
Consert??? Concert. Darned fingers do not always obey.
This is the edited concert, not the full concert. The full concert was twice as long and included songs not in the video. I know because I was there.
Scorpions - “Rock you a like hurricane” fits into my top 50 from the mid 80’s...
I saw Kansas as a teenager in the mid 70’s. They are still on my listing list..
I always liked that song, I know I'm weird.
Here’s the past three days on my countdown list:
39 Second Chance - 38 Special
38 Give Me One More Chance - Wilmer & The Dukes
37 The Rapper - Jaggerz
37 The Rapper - Jaggerz
Donnie Iris’ band!
