Well, according to Christian historians, the Danes are the tribe of Dan, so I guess this makes sense.

An article where the conclusion is that we need more government and the government needs more power.
No thanks.

Yes, It is all true! In this picture of local Seattle area celebrities... the Norwegian is the one carrying a weapon of mass destruction.

That seems to reflect what the people of the UK and their colonies were always taught. It was alawys about the “Norse” not the Danes.

Norway is a mountainous country with deep valleys and fjords carved by glaciers. This geography of isolated valleys meant every valley was a kingdom or a tribe which means a lot of fighting. Denmark and Sweden are mostly flat.

The archaeology shows 6% of the (male) population was executed in Iron Age Denmark? That's amazingly high.
That's probably about what we need, unfortunately.
Many years ago I read a study of Merovingian cemeteries in France: the author concluded that homicide was the principal cause of death among males 15 - 30.

Im other words, interpersonal violence was more common where the state didn’t do all the killing. Sounds like they are pushing gun control through the back door!!

27% Sweden and Denmark DNA here. It's the second highest after 53% England and Northwestern Europe, as well as 11% Germanic Empire, 5 % Scotland, and 4% Ireland in that order. My father was born in Holland. My mother in Canada, so finding Sweden and Denmark in that percentage was a surprise. Neither parent knew anything about their ancestry. I basically had to start from scratch.
Vikings invaded, then settled in the British Isles, intermarrying with the local people. That's why a lot of Britons have ended up with traces of Viking DNA.
