Wealthy enclave is left furious as millionaires are CUT OFF from paradise beaches due to disgusting discovery (Hamptons sewage)

Residents of a Hamptons enclave have been left up in arms after their pristine beaches were closed due to pollution from old septic tanks.

The residents of swanky Southampton have been unable to enjoy the last of the summer sun after pipes from Lake Agawam were opened into the ocean.

According to reports, Lake Agawam is one of the most polluted lakes in New York state and is home to celebrities including Calvin Klein and billionaire David Koch.

The opening of the pipes caused Old Town, Gin and Cryder beaches to be closed after the polluted water flooded into the area.

One resident told Page Six: 'It’s a s*** show', adding that the pollution comes from 'old septic tanks and runoff with pesticides from everybody’s landscaping'.

The anonymous resident added: 'They are about to open the floodgates of the most expensive s*** in New York onto our beaches.'

While former mayor of the town Jessie Warren shared videos of the beach onto his Instagram, accusing the town of pumping the polluted water into the ocean.

He said: 'The Village unfortunately waited to open the Old Town drain pipe to reduce the water levels in the lake.

'But now, according to the State Department of Environmental Conservation, harmful algae bloom season is from April - end of September, and they advise to avoid contact with suspicious blooms.

'Given that the Village has added fertilizer to the lake this winter, expect a dense and toxic bloom this season at Old Town and potentially Lake Agawam as well. Toxic algae is dangerous to pets and small children.'

He added: 'The water potentially contains toxic algae and enterococcus bacteria, often found in fecal matter.

If the wealthy folks stood up and defended the interests of the American people instead of attacking us with their “climate change” and anti-white propaganda I might have some sympathy for them.

They have chosen another path—deserve the excrement they got.

I owned a beautiful, historic home on the East Coast. Of course I made sure that all waste was treated in a septic tank according to ALL health standards, requirements, and regulations. However a plumber informed me that originally waste from the old houses was dumped untreated into the scenic salt water river and that the plumbing to do that was still in place though disconnected and no longer in use.

When our old septic system stopped working after about 40 years, probably due to roots from a nearby Pecan Tree, we were told our county banned repairing the leach bed. Instead we had to have one of the new and improved aerobic septic systems. The advantage is when the fourth tank gets full the system sprays the excess water out on the yard instead of letting the ground absorb the water dumped into the leach bed. So what is their disadvantage? First there is a 1/4 HP motor that runs 24/7 pumping air into the system. You also have to have Chlorine bleach being dumped into the system at all times. Finally, you can’t use about 1/4 acre of our lot because the system erratically empties the system via four sprinklers placed throughout your yard. On the other hand the septic system installers love to collect the cost of installing your new system and after about two years you must pay the for maintaining that system which involves adding chlorine bleach and cleaning the system filters which is a really nasty job. Us folks that have these systems need to pray the power doesn’t go off for an extended period of time or the Greeniacs decide dumping all that chlorine bleach into the ground is killing the planet and it gets banned.
