Anybody see that movie 'The Dead Zone'? In a crucial scene the evil politician sees an assassin trying to shoot him. He grabs a baby and puts it between the gun and himself. The assassin holds back because he will not shoot through a baby. The act is caught on camera and the evil politician loses his race because his cowardace is played over and over again. What Walz just did is his Dead Zone moment. Notice the hate on Walz's face as he tugs his son into line. Even though he knows multiple cameras are watching he can't control his momentary rage. If this is how he treats his own son, so much of a conditioned habit that he fails to control himself, what chance does anyone else have with him?
Thanks for posting that. I had to look the fellow up. 'Go West , young man!' Greeley was a target of Thomas Nast. The Nast cartoons probably made Greeley lose the presidential election. Greeley also hired none other than Karl Marx for his paper! I figured Marx was only famous because of Lenin! Greeley's newspaper was eventually merged into the New York Times where Marx still lives today!
Thanks for that link....WHY are those people SO ANGRY? Can’t they speak like normal people to get their points across? I can see raising your voice if you’ve been in a disagreement with someone and unable to sway them to how you see things but good grief, these people aren’t in any argument - they just YELL!!!!!
It would appear that Walz is an angry person. I wonder if there aren’t students who could come forward and reveal what they’ve seen of his behavior in classrooms or locker rooms? It’s like the absence of old friends of either Clinton or either obozo - it’s like NO ONE knew them before they entered politics...no one growing up, no one from their neighborhood, no one in school, no one in college...They made up their own background - so the obozo woman had a brother who played basketball...that’s all we ever knew about her!
Some of us here are getting on in years and we still remember our old friends - that is those who haven’t left us!!! I think I would speak up if someone I knew over the years was a despicable person and they pretended to be other than what they really were!
Maybe include Ren and Stimpy with ‘Happy Happy , Joy Joy!
I only saw a clip. That’s all I could handle. I forget who was with her, but she was acting like a jr. high cheerleader, peppy and leading the audience into repeating words, don’t remember what. It was sad to see; hopefully she was okay with it, since she was a politician. Gus, however, was all innocence and just happy to be with his dad.
They just all looked as though they had to work at being joyful, except Gabby and Gus.
It’s true that some people would claim he was hiding his son, but I think most people would think that leaving an autistic person at home would be an act of protection, not of keeping Cinderella from the ball. I didn’t even know about his son until I saw a report about him at the convention. People generally leave the children alone.
When he jerked on the jerk, it slung his wife around like a rubber chicken. ROTFL.

That makes me sad. I worked with a special needs man who I heard his dad never acknowledged as his son. He was one of my favorite co-workers. Down-to-earth and innocent.
It sure wasn’t a good look for him right out there in front of millions of viewers. Reminded me of a pet owner making a ‘correction’ to the pet along some sort of one-word command.
It may be appropriate like that. I have no idea on how you handle someone who is autistic, but the optics of this are very bad, IMO.
