In a recently released video of Kamala Harris speaking at the Islamic Center of Southern California, the vice president declared that, “We must have the courage to object when they use that term, ‘radical Islamic terrorism.’”

Had people rejected politically correct terms such as “radical Islam” as deceptive whitewashers of its dangers, the matter would have ended in the early 2000s, and so many negative developments — such as the flooding of the West in general and Europe in particular with Muslim “refugees” who behave more like terrorists — would not have occurred.
The lesson? Acceptance of one small lie always opens the door to the inevitable acceptance of more lies and their negative ramifications. But because it happens slowly and subtly, the boiling frog that is America fails to notice.

Does she mean Islamic terrorism is now mainstream, no longer radical, but normal?

I’m edified to hear that the October 7 terrorism rampage in Israel was not radical. Similarly not radical are the Houtis’ Iran-backed war in Yemen, its attacks on Red Sea shipping, and missile attacks on Israel. The widely expressed desire of muslims to exterminate all Jews in Israel is not radical.
Harris is proclaiming all these things to be normal. She wants those formerly-radical muslim votes, and she’ll have them.

We’ve been in a world of hurt from terror for a very long time. Show of hands? The FIRST bombing of the Twin Towers, under Clinton? Who was responsible for that? Who remembers THAT?

Thomas Jefferson recognized Islam as a mortal threat to America given the language of the First Amendment.
Islam is a political system, and not only a religion. Its adherents have no intent of abiding by, much less joining, “We the People,” thus accepting the right of free exercise in the social contract that is the Constitution. They are not parties to that social contract and are therefore undeserving of its protections, upon which they rely to bring about its demise.
And ours.
