So I Google the following "Kamala Harris ethnicity" and this is what came up.
"Ms Harris is the first black and Asian-American vice-president, with Indian and Jamaican-born parents."
WTH? Can someone tell me WTH this means?

What it means is that Trump brought up their number 1 reason for Harris being President. She’s a person of color. He brought it up and now owns and sets the narrative. People aren’t talking about her being black they’re talking about how she’s indIan.
Harris is 1/2 Indian and at most 1/16 black.
She was Indian until the Joe opened up the VP spot opened up for a "Black Woman". She decided she was no longer the first Indian Senator, but actually a "Black Woman Senator" and eligible for the opening. She is a scheming leftist who trades on whatever diversity slot it is that gets her ahead. If not for that her heritage would be irrelevant.
I think she would be better suited working pouring drinks for sailors in a dive bar on some dilapidated third world tropical waterfront.

I think the following is what I have read, although it also seems that her percent black is even LESS than 1/8th.
If this is incorrect, I am happy to learn the correct situation.
Her Mother: 100% Asian Indian.
Her Father: 75% Caucasian, 25% Black. Family includes Irish Slaveholders in Jamaica. Her grandfather was half white and half black, so he was 50% black. He had Kamala’s father with a white woman, so Kamala’s father was born 75% white and 25% black.
So when Kamala’s father (25% black/75% white) and her mother (100% Asian Indian) had Kamala, half of each is in her make up.
Therefore, Kamala Harris is:
• 50.0% Asian Indian (four-eighths or one-half Asian Indian (4/8 or 1/2));
• 37.5% Caucasian (three-eighths Caucasian); (3/8)
(that adds up to 7/8)
• only 12.5% Black (one-eighth Black) (1/8).
