It seems to me we can't yet be certain within the timeline of the half-minute or so of shots, exactly when Crooks died. Some think the last shot heard on the recordings must have been taken by the more southerly counter-sniper team behind where PDJT spoke and that that was the counter-sniper shot that left its mark above Crooks's left eye.

What was Crooks doing after he fired off his 5-9 shots? Was it the ninth shot that took him out? Crooks's body was seen some four feet back from the ridge. Had he been bear-crawling backwards for several seconds? A counter-sniper shot's (?) black burn mark on the roof was also just ahead of the body as it lay those four feet or so back from the ridge. (Can someone explain that mark with some precision?)

Since by Cheatle's testimony, we apparently don't have any recorded comms (which probably doesn't mean the contemporaneous transcript wouldn't exist), that's a big problem. I'd estimate that if both transcript and recorded comms don't exist, it reinforces that this was a government hit and that Cheatle has disclosed her criminal complicity.

Some fifteen minutes transpired at the roof between the first counting of 5 casings and the later counting of "at least 8 casings" "on both sides" "of the ridge."

Immediately after the 5-count, a SWAT officer called for a perimeter to be made and that "Nobody else comes up here." Out of view, a Penn State Police sergeant later gets in the video frame and a black (apparently polo-shirted USSS) also comes up. (No one is heard keeping others from approaching in that intervening time.)

Within seconds of the black guy coming up, the second shell casing of "at least 8" is made.

The first three were spaced with enough time between to check the targeting and adjust, like a professional would do (but Trump turned his head). After a pause, the next five were very closely spaced; chaotic, and lacking any time for a targeting check - like a wound up new-to-murder 20 year old might do.

A ninth shot closely followed the group of five (maybe the Butler PD shot that missed (or hit the assassin's leg?), and then 7 or so seconds later a final shot killed the assassin.

Even if nobody else has access to those NSA recordings, US military intelligence does. For an event as world momentous as this (unless, perhaps, if there clearly and truly are benign and innocent explanations for every one of these USSS missteps), it seems most appropriate to me that an NSA/USMIL Intel announcement be made concerning its findings of this event, which would had the benefit of review of all such recordings.

Such announcement should be made no later than the release of the ostensibly-official, Congressionally-authorized report on this attempted assassination.

Let’s assume this is true and that, as reported, Crooks immediately started shooting. I say the officer saved Trump’s life by distracting the shooter from the target and causing him to rush his shots because he knew he was discovered.

That is some sort of large metal roof vent. It didn't go anywhere. If you google, it remains in place on all the images where it is in the line of sight.

Vent?   No, I don't think so. Here's both the jug and the roof vent. A different look entirely, me thinks. And in this shot the blue-capped jug, with handle, looks to be rather close to Crooks's sniper perch position.

Those Nike low-cut tennis shoes to the right of the jug are on the shooter's feet.

Should we place our bets that prior to this image of Crook's building, its roof had been painted white or whitewashed and that what we're looking in this image is a few years' accumulation of mildew and mold?

Are you in sync with the claim that Crooks’s gun had the kind of red-dot optic Brandon Herrera believes he had? Do you like Herrera’s forward positioning and the behavior he shows of that red-dot optic? Thank you.

I agree with you that such an event as this, as obvious it is that something is very wrong here in how that went down and how it was defended and being covered up. And I think that it’s very likely along with the NSA (who records it all) the CIA/FBI/SS, hell, the entire 17 ICs for all I know had/have a part in this, either actively in its creation or passively in its cover up.

It is really just grotesquely ominous in my opinion. I’ve never had an inkling that so much of our government could be so corrupted by ideology, greed, power - whatever it is.

Trump REALLY frightens them. The permanently entrenched bureaucracy and the MIC seem to be in lock-step with the natural evil of Democrats in power.

We shouldn't forget that this excuse was worn out by the same Director Cheatle concerning USSS comms all having gone missing for J5 and J6.

Steel roofing comes pre-finished, although occasionally painted when very old. You can see the mildew and mold in the pictures of Crooks’ phone and detonator.

BH is speculating about the weapon from photos, I believe. I’m familiar enough with his work to have confidence in his assessment.

Nobody will ever know what sight picture the shooter had, or where he was aiming. As jacked up as he likely was on adrenaline, a center-of-mass shot gives the best hit probability. Could have been attempting a head shot, and DJT moved, or he could have been attempting a shot at DJT’s upper torso, and pulled it.

There's an inescapable consequence to what you've described, it seems to me. I analogize it to a compression of 60+ years of Intel Community/gov't. cover-up regarding the JFK assassination into the next three months to three years.

A comparable if not greater amount of energy and focus will be trained on what the weaponized gov't. did surrounding PDJT's Butler Rally. The drip-drip-drip of publicly-exposed evidence is already "threatening the dam" of gubmint cover-up, already seen and yet-to-be-dredged.

Yes, PDJT frightens those who understand what this means and portends. Too few in gubmint understand what that coming tidal wave will do. It's truly going to destroy the Democratic Party as we've known it. What survives of the Deep State will likely find themselves in Gitmo, on which billions of dollars have been spent for renovations in the past several years.

Whatever it is, it does look oddly prominent in that picture. It is outside the flat panel on the side of the building, though, not on the roof. Shows in this video.
