Two new Barbie dolls with disabilities are being released on Tuesday, July 23, as part of an expansion of the Barbie Fashionistas line, Mattel announced in a news release.
The new dolls, known as "Blind Barbie" and the "Black Barbie doll with Down syndrome," were each developed in partnership with nonprofit organizations.
"We recognize that Barbie is much more than just a doll. She represents self-expression and can create a sense of belonging," Krista Berger, senior vice president of Barbie and global head of dolls for Mattel, said in a statement provided to FOX Business.

And of course, you’d want to avoid stereotypes when mixing the diversity choices. Such as, you don’t want to do overweight polynesian barbie or trans singaporean barbie.
After the jabs…will they also do Cancer Patient Barbie? And Myocardial Infarction Barbie? How about clotted Veins Barbie?

Most people with Down’s have low muscle tone, aka floppy baby syndrome. This doll looks toned liked a runway model.
Somehow, when my friend and I put his sister’s Barbie and Ken in a lewd position seems even more wrong now. Eh, that was nearly 50 years ago, so I am not going to fret over it. It was hilarious and worth the spanking.
