MSNBC host Joy Reid 'should be fired' for her Trump assassination conspiracy theory, furious Americans say

Conservatives are calling for MSNBC anchor Joy Reid to be taken off the air after she shared inflammatory theories about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.

Reid, 55, angered critics on two occasions after a gunman shot Trump in the ear, including sharing a video to X implying that he was not even shot at all.

And after President Biden tested positive for Covid days after the assassination attempt, Reid said on a broadcast that Biden's brush with the virus was as heroic as Trump's reaction to narrowly avoiding a bullet.

Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk led the criticisms of Reid's remarks, as he called on MSNBC to 'take Reid off the air' for her 'outrageous, insane, defamatory' theories.

Reid's X video came amid mounting pressure on the Secret Service to explain the disastrous security slip that allowed the shooter to fire at Trump, as she listed several things she found 'weird' about the episode.

She appeared to imply it was a staged event that allowed Trump to 'pose' for the iconic photo of him pumping his fist in the air - which Kirk said would mean Trump's 'campaign and the Secret Service colluded to kill two people in a fake assassination attempt just so Trump could have a photo op.'

Reid also stated that we 'still don't know for sure whether Donald Trump was hit by a bullet', citing early reports that he may have been hit by a shard of glass from a teleprompter.

After also branding the assassination attempt a 'photo op' in the earlier MSNBC broadcast, Reid took a similar tune in her X clip as she speculated that Trump's Secret Service agents paused to allow Trump to strike a pose for the cameras.

I don’t have a problem with her asking questions. It probably wasn’t the smartest thing for the SS to allow him to stand back up when the possibility of other shooters was still there but honestly speaking I don’t think the SS gal would have been able to keep him down and he clearly wanted to get up so that he could let his supporters know that he was OK.

Whether it was glass or the bullet that hit his ear wouldn’t really change anything, unless she’s trying to say that it was a plan to only APPEAR that Trump was the target. We have the photo of the bullet in the air right after it nicked Trump’s ear though, and if this was an attempt to only APPEAR to hit Trump then Trump has balls even bigger than China. And if that was the case it also wouldn’t explain why Trump came out of it changed.

As for the medical records, we can’t even get medical records of DECEASED people, much less somebody still alive. Even autopsy results we can’t always get. I do think Trump could release the medical records regarding his ear, just to alleviate her questions.

I don’t agree with the whole idea of dismissing as crazy anybody who has questions. Allowing people to process information - and actually helping them to process information - instead of just calling them conspiracy theorists would further the idea that we can stand united in pursuit of answers. And that is the mentality that we need as a nation. Don’t call each other names; address the actual questions/issues that are raised.

It seems that Joy Reid is wondering if the SS left the assassin’s spot open for him so that a photo op could be staged. I think they did it for a different reason but the point is that they did leave it open and it enabled EITHER thing: the assassination of Trump, or the pretend assassination of him for political purposes. Joy Reid should be standing with the rest of us here, asking for a complete explanation of why the SS did what they did.

How many times have we said, “If this person could debunk this conspiracy theory, why didn’t they just do it?” For instance, Obama’s birth certificate. We know now that he couldn’t just present his Hawaii birth certificate because he doesn’t have a legally valid one to present, as confirmed indirectly by the HDOh when it failed to issue a CERTIFIED letter of verification 3 separate times. So we know why Obama didn’t just simply answer the skeptics on that. But now Trump has a chance to do what we thought Obama should have done if he could: simply present the evidence the skeptics are asking for. We don’t have to call anybody a crazy conspiracy theorist. We don’t have to stoke division. We don’t have to obfuscate and fuss.

I think Donald Trump should release the medical records from his bullet wound. It would be a good step to unite the country, when questions are actually addressed rather than everybody calling each other names and furthering the idea that questions are verboten.

I’m asking myself what proof the Comperatore family could provide that would be different than what the Sandy Hook families provided.

I still don’t know what to think of Sandy Hook. If it was faked it involved the FBI lying about DNA testing. Which isn’t beyond their ability or motive to do, IMHO. There’s no way to prove whether they did or didn’t.

And the same thing would be true for Mr. Comperatore, or for any death that might or might not be faked. That’s the trouble with having an FBI that nobody can trust. And somehow the whole nation needs to come to terms with the damage that’s been done because the crimes of FBI and other bureaucrats have not been fully punished.

If that was actually addressed - now that the Sandy Hook shoe is on the other political foot - it could help ALL SIDES realize the importance of credibility, and how the political games that have been played hurt us all.

Imagine that the script was flipped, for a moment.

If Biden was giving a speech and had been shot at, and sustained injury, in the same exact manner along with others in the crowd and, say, Tucker Carlson (just throwing a name out there) on The Five says it’s a hoax, hellfire would rain down on him from the left until his grandchildren’s futures lie in ashes; and he doesn’t even have any grandchildren yet.

The View is garbage watched only by leftist women and queer guys, who can’t think of catty stuff to say on their own. They have to get it from vapid broads like her.

Blech. I just threw up in my mouth a little at the thought...
