Well, corporate suicide and importing millions of illegals was bound to make a Mexican beer #1.

Isn’t Michelob the same company?

“In the joys of dethroning Bud Light, something pretty tragic happened. Americans turned to Michelob Ultra.”

Way to stick it in InBev, that’ll teach them.

The only thing that matters is what the trannies are drinking. You take that market demographic and...profit!

Modelo tastes just as bad as bud.

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times"

The opening line in Charles Dickens novel, A Tale of Two Cities. It's a very good fictional story about the French revolution. The peasant class uprises against the elites.

My favorite character is Madame DeFarge who knitted secret codes into her work. She was considered the antagonist. She wanted all the elites killed, guillotine.

Companies confuse brand loyalty with inertia. People will buy the same thing they always have because it is cheap, undemanding and of acceptable quality.

When any of those things change they shift their buying habits.

And once they have found something else that is cheap, undemanding and of acceptable quality, they are not moving back to you because inertia has once again stepped in.

Bud Light is still cheap and of acceptable quality (according to my friends that drink beer) but they are now too demanding. They demanded that you be on board with their delusion that sex in humans is changeable rather then an immutable fact.

People said, "Nah."

Prefer wine to beer (pinot grigio), but I’m kinda stuck on Blue Moon Belgian white (unfiltered). Goes good with fried chicken (which I should no longer be eating!).

Why anybody drinks that mass-produced corporate swill is beyond me when there are thousands of great local breweries producing fantastic beer every day. About 20 years ago, I remember reading that there were more breweries in America than there were in 1900 when the large, mass beer companies started taking over.

I can’t print here what my husband said about Bud Light (Coors too for that matter).

Modelo got a huge boost from the UFC:

“As of 2018, Modelo Especial is the official beer of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in the United States, replacing Bud Light.”

AFAIK, it still is. Wise decision, Dana White.

Michelob Ultra is like drinking unflavored seltzer water with a dash of alcohol in it.

Whatever happened to Hamms, or Rainier or Olympia? Lums restaurant chain used to cook their hotdogs in Ballentine, my uncle’s drank Schlitz , and my dad drank Fallstaff or Old Milwaukee, my Piney cousins all drank Stroths.

Because of my “heritage” around these various budget brews growing up... I came to the conclusion that beer is way overrated, especially bottled beer. Kegs or cans, no skunking. Blindfold tests tend to agree.

Singha was atrocious and Sam Magoo was ferocious.

A strong homemade Korean “ongee” beer is a beautiful thing, but it’s an acquired taste. Saki is also palatable.

Guys who are heavy regular beer drinkers and price conscious drink Bud Light these days.
