The dramatic pictures showed blood-covered mothers cradling their terrified children as they tried to escape the hospital after the strike.
Horrifying pictures have captured the aftermath of a devastating Russian missile strike on a children's hospital in Kyiv that caused widespread damage and killed at least two people.
Vladimir Putin's army launched a massive assault on Ukraine, targeting five Ukrainian cities with more than 40 missiles - at least 33 people have been killed and more than 150 injured across the country.
The onslaught hit apartment buildings and public infrastructure, including the newly reconstructed ward at Kyiv's Okhmatdyt Hospital.
Windows and doors were blown out and walls blackened in the 10-storey building, with blood splattered on the floor in one room.
The intensive care unit, operating theatres and oncology departments all were damaged, officials said.
Shocking images of the aftermath of the bombing have now emerged, including one of an injured mother covered in dust and debris making her way through a corridor carrying her stunned toddler.
The tot, who appears to be wearing a cannula into his nose, is seen also covered in dust, his skin smeared with blood as his mother covers him with a striped sheet.
Another image shows a mother sitting outside the bombed hospital cradling her young daughter. The little girl is seen hiding her face in the woman's chest, her tiny hand seemingly trying to shield her eyes.
Young cancer patients evacuated from the destroyed ward were pictured lined up against an external wall of the building as they continued to receive treatment away from the strike area.
Doctors and members of the public joined in rescue operations, forming a chain to quickly remove debris in an attempt to free hospital staff and patients caught up in the missile strike.

Actually he is probably doing this batch of bombing to intimidate NATO which is meeting this week in Washington, DC where Ukraine will be a major topic. What military target was close to the hospital? Russia is probably promoting rumors of negotiations so their newly minted troops will not arrive so discouraged at the front when they would rather be home. Military pays more, but if Putin was not wasting Russian treasure on hafis Peter the Great fantasies, and Alexander Dugan’s 1997 plan for how Russia can conquer Europe and control the world the soldiers could get decent pay working at home.
I cannot imagine Ukraine negotiating for less than Russia going back to the pre 2014 boundaries that Russia and US signed to both defend Ukraine after Ukraine agreed to return all nuclear bombs in Ukraine after the Soviet Union dissolved.

I remember how much difficulty the African students had trying to escape from the Russian troops and get home. Not only will Europe and allies fight this, but also in the UN. Had we backed down from our position of belligerence, Putin would have never invaded Ukraine. Our position of belligerence was to expand NATO into Georgia &/or Ukraine. The other alternative was to also accept Russia into NATO, and bring in Georgia & Ukraine with it. Imagine what a daunting force that would have made, and what could have been accomplished, but unfortunately greed got in the way.
Of course it could also have been the start of something even more evil that the USSR. Whenever man is involved, you never know if the new found power would be exerted for good or for evil.

There were actual signals that Putin really did not want to invade Ukraine. All we wanted to do was keep Ukraine from joining NATO.

It's actually called the American Immigration Control Foundation that was founded in 1983. But there is really not much information about them.
I lived in Northern Virginia & I never heard of them, but the conclusion should be that they were not really very effective.
I too was sounding the alarm about uncontrolled immigration that was tearing our country apart, but I started back when the Vietnamese were flooding the nation in the mid 7os as we fled another unadvisable war, which I foolishly supported because I believed it was necessary for our involvement, because of the domino affect to allow communism to gain even more control. But the USSR still existed and was causing issues that actually threatened freedom.
