Love almonds and eat them every day. My grandparents are from California’s almond growing area and grew their own.
Combined with chocolate? What could be better, LOL.
Unfortunately, my daughter is deathly allergic to almonds so I keep them out of he house when she visits.

Creamy Chocolate Almond Coffee
To delight your guests, serve this indulgent coffee dessert with chocolate-covered spoons.
Dip silverware or plastic spoons into melted chocolate candy coating; refrigerate until firm.
Ingredients 1/2 cup h/cream 2 tsp conf 1/8 tsp almond extract 4-1/4 c scoops chocolate
ice cream 4 cups strong hot coffee Chocolate shavings, toasted sliced almonds garnish
Steps Elec/mixer cream, conf sugar and almond extract on high to stiff peaks. Place scoops ice cream in 4 cups. Pour hot coffee over. Top w/ cream, chocolate shavings, almonds. Serve at once.
Bark Thins dark chocolate with chopped almonds. That is all.
