A small, 1,600-year-old papyrus fragment discovered in a German archive has been revealed to contain the earliest known copy of the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, an early Christian text describing the childhood of Jesus that once enjoyed enormous popularity but was not canonized into the New Testament.

bump
It did not “enjoy enormous popularity” which is why it languished and no one bothered to retain a copy of it into later ages. Nice try, anti-Christian clowns.
This story is well known to Catholics: it is one of the pseudo gospels that have been around since the early church....we are told that the stories are just romantic fiction.
indeed, it is even one of the stories that Anne Rice included in her books on Jesus’childhood (and is in the movie based on the story).
1600 years old???? LOL!!!!! It SHOULD be over 2000 years old!!!

Saying 7: The Lion and the Human
Jesus said, “Blessed is the lion that’s eaten by a human and then becomes human, but how awful for the human who’s eaten by a lion, and the lion becomes human.”

Jesus said to them, “Wherever you are, you’ll go to James the Just, for whom heaven and earth came into being.”

This trolling topic was added to the ggg keyword, but not by me. Knock it off. It's been used as another opportunity for Jew-bashers, but nothing makes them happy.
Most Bible scholars would put the writings of the New Testatment between 50 A.D. and 100 A.D. With Revelations closing the Book.
