One often hears in conservative media how the top folks at the DoJ, FBI, CIA, IRS, NSA, etc. may be corrupt traitors to the country and the Constitution but the ol’ rank and file are made up of honest, hardworking, patriotic Americans.
To this I call bullsh*t. Out of hundreds of thousands of employees, how many whistleblowers -- i.e., truth tellers -- are there? How many opinion pieces and media appearances have these supposed patriots made? How many have refused to participate in the crimes being committed by these agencies against their fellow American citizens?
Yes, that was a lonely tumbleweed that just rolled by, serenaded by the sound of crickets.
It is not a question about whether these folks can be bought. They clearly can be and are.
Sadly for us, the price for them to sell their souls is no more than their annual paycheck and their retirement. That’s it!
One would hope if you were going to abandon all honor -- in many situations violating a sacred oath they willingly took -- you’d demand more for it than a government paycheck and retirement. But I guess they know the value of their honor more than I.
If you are willing look the other way and remain silent over obvious crimes and violations of fundamental laws then you are not an “honest, hard-working, patriotic American.” If you are willing to participate in outrageous armed assaults on American citizens you are not a “honest, hard-working, patriotic American.”

Great question. Where are they?
Right alongside the “good cops” during the Covid lockdowns and mandates.
Don’t they all call in to the Sean Hannity Show daily?
The “good Germans” question answered
But but but, hannity says THERE ARE good guys in the FBI, but, for some reason hannity, they just never show up, smh.
where are they?
most likely forced out and/or retired or so powerless they live in fear and try to avoid being noticed.
Great question. Where are they?
They’re at the PTA meetings and Latin Masses looking for the real terrorists.
Or inviting some simpleton to their KKK meetings.
They’re slowly but surely convincing those who are in some form of law enforcement to conform or be destroyed. It worked with the American people, who they got to turtle up. Why not someone even closer to the action?
When the dust clears, they might pop their heads up though like a prairie dog from a burrow and and say, "I was not involved because I was one of the good guys."
Are they good guys? Usually they are, as people. As to honesty in government, I am reminded of Revelations 3:16. "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."
At barbeques at Sean Hannity’s house. You know, the 99.9%.
There was an article here not long ago that said the FBI is screening out Trump supporters and Covid shot skeptics.
It seems that they are too busy investigating the Trump supporters to investigate criminals. Priorities.
And if I find out one of my neighbors is an FBI agent, I will treat him the same way I would treat a convicted child molester.
They exist in Hannity’s fertile imagination.
“The rank and file” are just as crooked as the rotten stinking corpse at the top. Every one of them is a crook.
There are very, very few good guys in real life. The vast majority of people remain silent to protect their salary/pension/title.
They’re toting the line. You know salary and pension kind of thing. They’ll follow orders until some stop making it home at the end of their shift. Sad thing being a slave to money.
With the FBI’s current raid on the mayor of Oakland in connection with the Duong’s, even if there is legitimate corruption, it’s hard to trust the FBI which has its own corruption issues. Altering evidence, planting doctored up documents, how communistic of them.
