If you're a small town or rural consumer, you might find this of interest.
It's a 13-minute youtube video show how this corporation is taking you dollars to support people and causes you might find personally or morally repugnant, or to stockholders in larger dividends.
A lot of times we see articles saying to boycott this or that; but we never hear that the effort has had any real effect, especially when we’re given lists of many items produced by one mega-corporation, all of which we should boycott.
Occasionally, like with Bud Light, there is proof of a real effect; but we just don’t see that often.
Conversely, there was a real and rapid effect when many of us went out and bought a huge lot of Goya products to show our appreciation for Unanue’s support of Trump.
Their selection shames what Tractor Supply offers.
I’m buying a case of Bud Light there right now.
I tend to stay away from joints that don’t sell guns and ammo. I shop Murdoch’s mostly. I don’t own any tractor that I need to supply.
Yup
I’ll go get my 12 pack of Bud Lite from them after I watch this Netflix movie about how MSNBC is right about everything. Then I will go to Dicks Sporting goods for a large purchase, THEN to Tractor Supply Company.
Hopefully you don’t forget to watch the five part HBO special on QANON.
;-)
Forgive me for asking this since I have not gone to YouTube to check it out, but is it a proven fact before we go on a boycott by word-of-mouth? I need proof before I boycott any establishment. I boycotted target because I literally saw the pride Jotos garbage they were peddling with my own eyes at the store.
Home Depot is leftist? Interesting. I always thought it was right-of-center.
I’ll do that right after I shave with my brand-new Gilette razors. 😊
I fortunately do have Farm and Fleet, but have to say I’m sick of these people telling us where we should spend our money. It’s not like it’s going make a damn bit of difference if if I was a lib I’d say I’m offended. Your money, spend it where you like.
Yeah, I did an install in Iowa and learned about Mills FF, they’re awesome!
YouTube vids have all reached ridiculous lengths. 10 minutes for 30 seconds worth of info is the norm.
There was a nice one at the old Safeway in Show Low when I was living over there.
Liberals will trash everything they get involved with their twisted minds. Recently, I was stomping mad over the CEO of USAA who took the company woke. Historically, a military based insurance company betraying their customer base for DEI. Now, I’m equally upset with Tractor Supply, a company I have patronized for years. Fortunately, I have a great alternative in my area - Family, Farm, and Home which is as convenient for me to shop at as TSC. Their prices are as good or better than TSC. What an absolute anathema for an agricultural store whose patrons are conservative farmers to go woke on its patrons. Look around for an alternative. If you don’t have one right now, one will surely be taking TSC’s place soon. TSC is history for me. This is exactly why Trump is right to abolish the Department of Education (DOE) that is behind this subversion of America being carried out by a whole generation of indoctrinated Marxists. How the Country ever got talk into allowing Un-American Fascists to actively conduct subversion (undermine) against our Country is beyond me. Fascistic corporations have joined forces with our government in an unholy alliance to destroy America.
I’m not sure, but I think they get paid for keeping your attention.
And if they offered a short summary in the notes, or at the beginning, lots of people wouldn’t stick around to see the video.
I avoid all national chains whenever possible.
I’ve heard about Tractor Supply. I would avoid them like the plague.
There’s usually some decent interest or even individual who benefits even when we buy things from companies people tell us to boycott.
I’ve seen a lot of criticism here of ‘Jeff’s Convenience Store’ (Amazon); but it’s a brilliant concept and very useful for a lot of us who are older, don’t get out easily, etc. And the critics forget that many, many small, private, American vendors/businesses sell there.
Tractor Supply bought out Orschelns, a locally owned group of regional farm stores, a couple of years ago, but the FTC made them divest some of them, and they sold some of them to Bomgaars, an Iowa farm store company, to avoid a monopoly. Our local Orschelns is now Bomgaars, but the Orschelns 25 miles up the road is now a Tractor Supply. I’ve only been to a Tractor Supply once or twice; there’s one about 18 miles down the road, too. All of them, Orschelns, Bomgaars and Tractor Supply are very expensive. In this region (Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas), Atwoods Farm and Ranch stores are their chief competitors. They’re expensive, too, but maybe a hair less. They do a booming business. My son works there; good place to work; they treat their people well.
