GERMANY: Woman Convicted Of “Offending” Migrant Gang Rapists Receives Longer Prison Sentence Than The Rapists
The Publica ^ | June 23, 2024

A 20-year-old woman in Hamburg, Germany, has been sent to prison after making “hateful” remarks towards a migrant who was involved in the gang rape of a child. The woman is just one of 140 people being investigated for making “harmful comments” towards the rapists.

The horrific assault took place in 2020, and involved multiple groups of migrant men independently attacking a 14-year-old girl in Hamburg’s Stadtpark over the course of one night. The park had become a popular hang-out spot for youth during the COVID-19 lockdowns, and the girl had been there drinking with her friends. But they became scattered after police swept the park and broke up groups while enforcing social distancing measures.

Confused and alone, the girl was defenseless against the first mob of four predators.

The men took turns on the girl, repeatedly raping her over an extended period of time. They robbed her of her wallet and cellphone before leaving her. Traumatized and disoriented from the first attack, and having no method of calling for help, the girl was assaulted a second time by two more men who took advantage of her vulnerable state.

Disturbingly, her assailants had begun inviting other men to rape her via their chat groups, gleefully sharing the news that there was an isolated teenage girl in the dark park with no potential witnesses.

The child was attacked a third time by a single man, and then a fourth time by three more men, who dragged her into a bush and sexually assaulted her.

Finally, the child managed to break away and ran, though pursued by her rapists. Eventually, she came across people who recognized her traumatized state and immediately called the police.

A total of 11 men were initially charged, but two were acquitted quickly due to a lack of DNA evidence. The sperm of nine of the men, however, had been successfully recovered from the girl’s body.

Five of the men were in possession of German passports, while the remainder were not citizens of Germany. Among those charged, none were of German heritage. The rapists were identified as a Pole, an Egyptian, a Libyan, a Kuwaiti, an Iranian, an Armenian, an Afghan, a Syrian, and a Montenegrin. The men had a team of 20 defense attorneys arguing their innocence.

Videos of the first and third rapes had been recorded and shared by the assailants to contacts through WhatsApp, but the videos were deleted before the case could be heard in court. Witnesses who did see the footage before its deletion did testify that it depicted clear sexual assault, with one noting that the girl had been holding her hands over her head in a protective position.

During the trial, the victim, who now suffers from PTSD as a result of the night of abuse, was called upon to speak about what happened to her. While she recounted her horrific ordeal, the men showed “no signs of remorse” and at least one is said to have almost fallen asleep during proceedings.

However, despite DNA and WhatsApp evidence, eight of the nine men convicted walked free with probation and spent no time in prison at all. The ninth was sentenced to two years and nine months in prison without parole.

The case caused outrage in Germany, both for the brutality of the rape itself and the lenient sentences given to the rapists. As a result, one of the men had his identity and phone number circulated on Snapchat by furious sleuths.

Angered by the news of the case, a 20-year-old woman from Hamburg messaged the number through WhatsApp. The unnamed woman called him a “dishonorable rapist pig” and a “disgusting miscarriage.” She added: “Aren’t you ashamed when you look in the mirror?”

The targeted rapist then reported the woman to police, and she was charged with sending him insulting messages.

The woman has now been convicted and sentenced to a weekend in prison for her remarks — meaning that she will have spent more time in jail than 8 of the 9 rapists. In court, the woman apologized for her remarks, saying she acted out of a “reflex” upon hearing the sickening details of the case.

But, according to the Hamburger Abendblatt, this woman is not the only person who could be facing a conviction for insulting the rapists.

Authorities in Hamburg are reportedly investigating 140 people for offenses related to issuing “insult, threats, or other detriment” towards the Stadtpark predators.

As usual, evil triumphs when good men do nothing against it.

In a virtuous society, if such a travesty occurred, justice would be swift, violent and final.

FYI

https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/judge-jails-1-of-9-men-in-germany-gang-rape-of-teen-girl/ar-AA1l3iVK

It seems people were upset by the idiot female judge's stupid ruling.

“The Hamburg Judges’ Association, as the union of Hamburg judges and prosecutors, is appalled by the intolerable harassment of a colleague who, in this difficult case, fulfilled the task assigned to her by the Basic Law,” the statement said.

The group called the critical messages “unacceptable personal attacks” with “more or less veiled calls for violence.”

Some called for the judge to be a rape victim herself, while the criticisms were “marked by an anti-immigrant undertone,” the group added.”

Living here in Germany for many years, I was fond of observing in reaction to incidents like this that the Germans strive always to take the wrong lesson from the "Hitler time." The third Reich was an age when thought and speech were ruthlessly suppressed. The American remedy for a government suppressing speech up until very recently was to fortify guarantees of free speech.

But Germans, and now leftists in America, apparently think that hate speech led to mass murder in the 1930s and 40s so the problem would be solved by eliminating hate speech. The problem, Pogo, is not the speech but government. A government bent on murder will of course deploy hate speech to its ends but taking away that tool, however satisfying, is hardly likely to contain a murderous intent. The problem is not the speech of individuals, no matter how hateful, but actions of government itself.

The German reaction, even revulsion, after their conduct in the third Reich has been to seek a solution to every problem through government. If a problem exists the answer is always to enlarge government to fix it.

But the problem of the third Reich was big government. Government grown too Intrusive, hateful government, ubiquitous government. One may argue that the Nazi party acquired power by exploiting hateful speech but that is to confuse a tool with motive prompting its use. By all accounts, Adolf Hitler acceded to power by virtue of his brilliant demagoguery, his effective articulation of hate. But Hitler's speech was a tool, more importantly, it was a symptom of a deeper evil. Hitler's obsession was gaining absolute political power to effectuate his evil obsessions. Churchill described him so eloquently:

… the void was open, and into that void after a pause there strode a maniac of ferocious genius, the repository and expression of the most virulent hatreds that have ever corroded the human breast – Corporal Hitler.

It is fatuous in the extreme to believe that virulent hatred can be cured by suppressing speech of such maniacs. Governments have become adept at masking their true intentions with socially acceptable speech. It is noted that, although the third Reich made explicit its hatred of Jews, homosexuals, Gypsies and communists it is also to be noted that it covered up its mass executions of these people even as the gas chambers were burning. So adept are governments at lying, withholding, and spinning that the descriptive "Orwellian" has entered this and many other languages.

We are now in this posture in America in which a major political party actually believes that men can have babies and 2+2 can equal five. In other words, we are in a welter of preposterous Orwellian speech that it is unrealistic to expect that we can sort out hate speech from the patently ridiculous. To do so by invoking the mailed fist of government to determine what is true or false, hateful or otherwise is equally fatuous and, more importantly, dangerous.

It is dangerous because to invest power in government in the name of preventing hate speech is to deliver power by that very act into their hands of the same people who are hateful, whose virulent hatreds even now corrode the human breast. Hate speech by definition is an accumulation of words that evaporate into the ether but political power can be pitiless, relentless and murderous.

Alas, we in America are aping the self-inflicted habit of the Germans: to confuse symptom and tool with the real threat. To control hate speech by government is to ensure hateful government.

The Allies imposed anti-free speech laws on Germany as part of deNazification. The Allies believed that pro-Nazi speech had to be banned in order to democratize Germany.

Eventually, other European countries criminalized "Holocaust denial." Criminalizing "Holocaust denial" were the first anti-"hate speech" laws in modern Europe.

An interesting article on the subject: As Goes the Holocaust, So Goes the West.

most of Europe’s hate-speech laws were initially crafted to imprison Holocaust revisionists and deniers.

Well said.

In regard to the following excerpt:

In other words, we are in a welter of preposterous Orwellian speech that it is unrealistic to expect that we can sort out hate speech from the patently ridiculous.

That is part of the plan - to efface "common sense" so that the individual cannot distinguish truth from lies, and so will accept whatever the government says.

Lbs latest approach towards to crime…… don’t talk about it. See, if no discussion of a crime, was there really a crime? That’s how we make crimes go down, just do not discuss. “If there was a crime problem wouldn’t people speak about an increase in crime?” “Well since no one is talking about an increase in crime, there must not be one…” You know circle logic at work!

”But you outlawed talking about a crime!”

”Well we outlawing talking about crime to reduct the perception of crime and that is what is important, the perception!” “Now come along little man, we have to lock you up for talking about crime”.

Yes, much better to be islamofacist genocidal anti-semites than National socialist genocidal anti-semites.

IMO, post WWI Germany was spurred on to believing up-and-coming figures who had their own set of arguments as to the cause of the desolation during those times. Madmen, all, but they, especially Hitler had already worked out how they want to ‘do it.’

Besides pointing to Jews as the major cause, he also saw that he needed a compliant legal system, and that’s where he concentrated in replacing the wrong people in academia and judicial offices. At full takeover, he had the complete backup from both.

I have this feeling the majority of natural German citizens do not care at all for any of this. Some day a leader will come forth and be very popular. A Hitler of sorts. And watch out, there will be a severe house cleaning in Germany.

The same is likely to spread to other European countries. Sooner or later enough will be enough.

This is complicated by the fact that these policies are being formulated by unaccountable EU pols who are insulated from the actions of the voters of individual nations

Per plan. These are the operating mechanics of the UN Agenda 21. I published a book discussing this at length in 2001.
