Any normal defendant charged with the same crime as Hunter Biden would have pled guilty and taken a plea deal because there would no chance of acquittal.
Hunter Biden is fighting the case for a couple of reason, jury nullification despite overwhelming evidence the jury just overrides it all and find Hunter Biden not guilty or he’s convicted and gets probation with not time serve and maybe a small fine.

My question, too. My theory is that the powers that be are willing to sacrifice letting him get off on the gun charge (he will not be convicted), but a trial on child porn would be too much and may implicate Joe.
