I remember being a kid and seeing my grandmother without her dentures for the first time. It was a harrowing experience. Now my dad has dentures so, genetically speaking, I’m several decades out from needing some myself. However, it’s possible that modern medicine will solve the issue of lost teeth by then, thanks to a new drug that's about to enter human trials.
The medicine quite literally regrows teeth and was developed by a team of Japanese researchers, as reported by New Atlas. The research has been led by Katsu Takahashi, head of dentistry and oral surgery at Kitano Hospital. The intravenous drug deactivates the uterine sensitization-associated gene-1 (USAG-1) protein that suppresses tooth growth. Blocking USAG-1 from interacting with other proteins triggers bone growth and, voila, you got yourself some brand-new chompers. Pretty cool, right?

The Japanese have been working on this for quite awhile.
They’ve also grown lenses for the eyes from stem cells.
So hold off on getting that tooth pulled or cataracts removed for as long as possible.
Is there an option where I can get Vampire fangs?
This is a plot by orthodontists...
Can you imagine the lines of 40-80 years olds lining up becasue their new teeth need braces?
My dentist was telling me about this at my last appointment because he’s been following the research and animal testing and thinks it’s very likely to be the next big thing in dentistry and much cheaper than bridges, crowns and implants once it gets scaled up.
The dental implant industry will not be taking this laying down.
And no need for dentists and no need to brush your teeth, because, once they get rotten and drop off, you can regrow new ones. Only the doctors who medicate with the new drug, will have ‘dental’ careers, until the drug becomes available over-the-counter.
Does the medicine stop when you want it to? I wouldn’t want to be like a shark, continuously growing more teeth, or a rodent, who has to keep grinding each tooth down because they keep getting longer.
Whaaaa? Great, probably using dna from sharks. We’ll grow rows of them, and will our eating habits change?
So, how long until someone puts it in someones Preparation H tube?
“By his stripes you are healed” Isaiah 53:5.
“Christ has redeemed us from the curse [including generational curses]” Galatians 3:13.
