In the event Hunter is convicted of the IRS and/or Gun violations, is it possible for Joe Biden to pardon him while he is President. It is my understanding both are Federal crimes which the President has the ability to pardon.
Baring death or illness he won’t drop out
Otherwise, I need to you to lay out those consequences you see, that I don’t see.
In a good republic, that power base would be out of power for that single act. History shows us this.
The question is do we have enough of a good republic left. We don’t know yet. Place your bet.
We shall see, but if it takes that, the DNC has no problem making that happen, In fact, it would only bolster their chances by blaming his assassination on the Republicans. I say this because they cannot allow Trump to become president again. My biggest fear is that they will assassinate Trump instead. If they fail though, they have assured Trump being elected.
I think Presidents can pardon federal offences but not state.

We see on a daily basis how the Rule-of-Law has been turned on its head. we have seen clear evidence that all politicians no longer are concerned about the people, because it's the donor class that keep returning them to their political positions. That means our voting in just a ruse to give the appearance that we still play a role in electing those we want.
So, that is why I insist that you lay out what you are referring to. If not, that is fine too, but it shows that you really have nothing in mind.
While I know this is not the current state of affairs, I have long held that pardons should be limited to convictions.
true!
Are their state charges against Hunter? The only thing that seems to make the news is federal charges. If the crime occurred in California or any Rat run deep blue state, I doubt if the charges would be allowed to stand.

I said, in a rational society, a bad pardon, should remove bad leadership. That is why the founding Fathers gave few guidelines for pardons. I can’t be any clearer.
Whether it will if joe does this will reveal a lot...............about us.
Yes. And all the RATs would still vote for him.
That’s how they will get Traitor Joe to step aside and not seek re-election.
Step down after Pardoning Hunter and democrats will support the decision

here is some history on pardons.
One of most controversial was Pilates pardon of Barabbas. It had some interesting effects.
Clinton even pardoned his half-brother Roger for cocaine trafficking, who later was arrested twice on drunk driving charges. He even pardoned FALN, that even Hillary objected to. The Senate voted 95-2 to oppose the clemency and the House voted 311-41. But because the presidential pardon power is absolute, the votes could not reverse the action.
So, now explain why that article bolster's your case, because I see it bolstering my case to be honest.
I'm not trying to be a smart-@ss. I'm trying to understand what consequences Biden faces when he pardons his son Hunter after the election has been decided, or if he decides to drop-out/is pushed-out before the election is completed.
I may be missing something, which is why I ask. I have made mistakes before and have made statements that needed further explanation as to why I made the statement I had made while ignoring previous history that I had omitted. It's called a learning process, and I try to continue to learn even at my older age.

But I don’t think Trump will let it go if he wins or loses. The question is will we keep in the fore front of our discussion or let it slide.
You are really reaching here, unless you are saying that the people will break the law because Biden pardoned his son.
I do not see that happening. At best is to bring charges against Hunter, if we can get Trump elected, in Trump's triumphant return. I won't state how that might be accomplished right now. Because sometimes it is not wise to talk about certain things until the time is right to do so.
Okay. 🙂👍
I’d bet it’ll happen over the Christmas holidays, while Congress is in recess. If Biden has lost the election, he’ll also give Hunter a Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Nada. It would be an “in your face” pardon.
All we’ll hear from the MSM is “well, President Ford pardoned President Nixon.” Of course they’ll conveniently omit the people that Clinton and the Bamster pardoned . . .
