In the event Hunter is convicted of the IRS and/or Gun violations, is it possible for Joe Biden to pardon him while he is President. It is my understanding both are Federal crimes which the President has the ability to pardon.

I don’t see why not, but it wouldn’t be good PR for the upcoming campaign.

Don’t know the legal answer, but given what’s going on with Trump, I say he will pardon if necessary. If it’s not legal, no one will stop him.

I would suspect he can, the question is, is it a wise thing to do? There are consequences in the market place.
Place your bets.

Of course he can pardon Hunter Biden.
The IRS and gun charges are federal crimes.
The President has the authority to pardon federal crimes.
President Biden could wait until after the election to pardon his son, thereby reducing most of the political push-back.

He would pardon him after the election. Yes he could and I have no doubt he would - if he can’t get Garland’s goons to throw the case.

Last thing I heard any threats from Jo Pedo when he resorted to using Camela Harris lingo in public when he pulled a Nikita Khruschev and said “Nobody ****s with a Biden.”

Sure he can and he would in a heartbeat and the press will praise him for his bravery and sticking by his family as they are persecuted by those evil Republicans and Trump.
All pretense of law and order are gone, it is a time of anything goes and grab as much as you can and Biden will be doing just that until he is laid in his grave.

Right They pushed bacck the trial so it’s unlikely he would get conviction of anything before the election anyway.. If Biden won a second term (or was handed one) he could easily not have to worry about the bad press at that point

Question: Does Hunter need to found guilty to be granted a pardon? Just curious because the case may not be resolved by Jan 2025.

If they are federal charges, yes
If they are not, no

Remember the deal Justice was ready to make with Biden before the judge said no go. Hunter would have been excused from all future crimes..

I don’t think they need to worry about the PR. They pretty much control the corporate media.

No. Recall that Ford pardoned Nixon before Nixon was convicted of any crime.

Nixon was never charged much less convicted of anything. Ford pardoned him. I presume Biden could do the same, particularly since Hunter has been charged so the pardon could be specific.
