Can President Biden pardon Hunter if he is convicted of the IRS and Gun charges?

In the event Hunter is convicted of the IRS and/or Gun violations, is it possible for Joe Biden to pardon him while he is President. It is my understanding both are Federal crimes which the President has the ability to pardon.

It doesn’t matter whether he can or not. THEY just will.

I don’t see why not, but it wouldn’t be good PR for the upcoming campaign.

He can pardon Humper after the election.

I believe he’s been told if he plays ball and drops out when they tell him to, Hunter’s cases will be pushed out far enough that he can “safely” pardon him on the way out the door, and nothing will happen to him.

He can't pardon before a conviction has occurred. If Biden loses and the conviction occurs after Jan 20, 2025, he won't be able to pardon. A few strategic delays of the trial could seal Hunter's fate.

It says here I am supposed to pardon my son. Pause. There is nothing more honorable than a father’s love for his son. This is state right there in the wadchqmaclluo thingumwutchit . Pause. Leave stage promptly. Don’t take questions.

He will not do it. Someone will draw up the pardon documents and Biden will sign it saying “What am I signing?”

If Brandon loses the election, he'll pardon Hunter and the entire Biden crime family. He'll probably also pardon himself. If there is concern about the validity of a self-pardon, he'll step down one day early and let the Laughing Hyena pardon him.

If Brandon wins, he'll have his DOJ continue to block everything until it just quietly disappears.

It’ll happen on November 6th, whether FJB wins or loses and nothing can (or would) be done about it . . .

After the election the consequences will no longer exist.

Ford pardoned Nixon prior to there being any conviction of any crimes.
The language was something like:
“...for any crimes that he may have committed...”

Yes, and he will do so, right after the election.

He should be asked before the election whether there is any possibility that he will pardon Hunter. At least he will pay a bigger political price if he goes back on his word.

He can, and he will. He could actually pardon him right now and end all of the prosecutions against Hunter. However, he won’t until after the election when he has nothing to lose. It’s most likely why they keep finding ways to push out his trial dates.

Biden can pardon or commute Federal charges.

Politically, i would imagine that happens as he is being led out the door.

There are always consequences.

There appear to be few rules regarding pardons. The Founding Fathers left it to the marketplace and elections/revolutions.

How will the people react to a pardon of Hunter. Place your bets.

Trump may ask him at the debate. However no matter who asks that question Biden would answer no, because he has no problem lying.

I suspect the debate on June 27th will provide justification for the Democrat Party to intervene to remove Biden and pick someone else at the convention.

They will allow Biden to pardon his son on his way out after announcing that he has decided for health reasons to not run, or some other excuse, but health seems to be the best excuse available.

In fact, I think Kamala was the overriding reason that Joe was allowed to run this time. They really could not afford to have her at the top of their ticket, because she would lose by an even larger margin. So, they had to play this delicate game for obvious reasons, having the freedom to pick at the convention also locks out Bernie Sanders too. Now, the primaries have mostly played out now, by June Joe should have more than enough to be the nominee. So sad, too bad for Kamala & Bernie. Both need to be selected at the nominating process at the convention where neither will have the support.

I think the plan to replace Biden has been the real plan all along.

After all, they really seem to be not very concerned at all that Ohio is threatening to withhold Biden from appearing on the Ohio ballot because of a law the Democrats themselves created which has something to do with a date that they must declare to be on the ballot or something to that affect. That alone is cause for pause to believe something else is up their sleeve. I think that is exactly what is up there sleeve.

However, I think their worst nightmare will become a reality, because I believe enough people see Biden's regime as a failure as not only Biden's blunders, but the Democrats blunder as well for taking their voting block for granted. They allowed too man people, including their supporters to wiggle in the disaster of the economy. The top 10 percent will be the Democrats largest voting block, along with illegal aliens, which may not be enough to defeat Trump who I pick as the winner of the 2024 election.

Only if the Republicans recapture both Houses of Congress by veto proof margins, which is unlikely.

Otherwise, I need to you to lay out those consequences you see, that I don't see.
