A flag that was on display during the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol was flown outside Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s vacation home in New Jersey, according to a report in the New York Times on Wednesday.
Citing photographs and interviews with neighbors, the Times reports that the “Appeal to Heaven” flag was seen on display at his property last summer. The flag, which has a history dating to the Revolutionary War, has also become a symbol for supporters of former President Donald Trump. The flag is white and includes a green evergreen tree and the words “An Appeal to Heaven” at the top.

What really gets their goat is they know when push comes to shove, they can do NOTHING to Alito. He can just ignore their little hit pieces and demands for recusal and in the end they can NOTHING whatsoever about it. He’s got a lifetime appointment, answers to nobody and can’t be forced to do recuse or do anything else.

Obviously there is nothing wrong with the Appeal to Heaven flag.
When you act as court stenographer for the Deep State, without other offerings of barely passable 'entertainment', and get the vapors over insignificant crap on what flag/t-shirt/cap people are wearing (with few exceptions, like white hoods or Hugo Boss designed uniforms), especially when related to the nation's founding (which despite your best efforts, people still revere), don't get upset when people don't tune in.

We just learned the (fake) POTUS approved a law enforcement of the Former POTUS over paperwork, and CNN is worried about what flag a SC justice flew. Make it make sense.
I learned 30 years ago “Controversial” is just part of the gaslighting.
As a thought exercise an intelligent individual able to think for himself might also ask if the striped homosexual flag is “controversial”.
Years ago a buddy of mine, a pretty hardcore lib wanted to give me his “Don’t Tread On Me” flag. He’s a sort of schizo lib who has a flagpole in his yard and flies the American flag every day, and the Gadsden flag as well.
The Gadsden flag, and others - these have been targeted by the spook agencies and the usual suspects as evidence of “Domestic Extremist” or whatever. Maybe. I politely declined, and briefed him on what it represents (to the usual suspects). At the time I was a little suspicious - wondering if he was trying to set me up. But I think, he was just clueless. He didn’t know most likely. That’s how stupid “liberals” are.
