A mother in Atlanta disrupted an awards ceremony at her son's school after he did not receive any prizes.
She stood up in middle of the event and walked up to the front of the stage before ranting after her child did not win anything.
The person presenting the award was forced to apologize to those in attendance and tried to de-escalate the situation.
The incident was caught on video and shared to X where it has been viewed more than 500,000 times.
In the clip, the mother is heard shouting at the person who is presenting the awards but it is not clear what she is saying.
'Ladies and gentlemen I apologize for what we're seeing right now,' the school employee says before the women shouts even more.
'I'll talk to you,' he says in a bid to get her to calm down. 'Momma, we can look at it again.'
The mother then shouts 'let's go' at her son and he is seen following her outside of the assembly hall.
The school official then apologizes to the crowd again for the disturbance caused.

Let me guess.
For this one, I’ll give the benefit of the doubt. It’s possible her son was supposed to win an award and they may have given it to a girl or transgender kid at the last minute...
I just had to look . . . I’m sorry!
Yeah....not only did he win nuffin’, but the height of the ceremony was his mom going off on how he won nuffin’. Twenty years from now, nobody would have remembered he won nothing, but they’ll remember momma.
Future Democrat politicians.
Worth every penny (and not a penny more.)
Simple, dearie.
Devote more time to your child and encourage a love of learning. Provide them with a peaceful, comfortable, secure environment. Praise them when they do well, support them when they stumble, define excellence and lead by example.
Don’t throw a hissy fit; it accomplishes nothing except making you look stupid.
You are the problem, not your child.
The kid shoulda won a prize for surviving the worst mom.
Where was dad?
“Momma.”
Why didn’t he get the DEI award. Seems like being black today means you get all the awards. Obama was right America is no longer exceptional.
That’s sort of what I’m thinking, too - that the boy was supposed to receive an award, but he was overlooked or something.
She shouldn’t have caused a scene. Then again, I don’t know what happened before the video started.
lol
Give me a year with her child, in my home, and he would be winning awards.
My eldest placed in regional for UIL for Russian History, Constitutional Law, and District for Academic Decathlon. Speaks 4 languages, plays violin and guitar, ranked 3rd in the District in chess, graduated high school with Honors, was MVP of his high school choir, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from college.
My middle child won awards in dance, placed first in engineering, won awards for art and choir, graduated with honors from high school, placed in the top 5% state-wide on the STAAR exam, and is a 4.0 every semester so far in college majoring in microbiology while also earning an ASL certification. He speaks 3 languages.
My youngest has won awards for leadership, math, computer science, Academic excellence, and even took home the President’s Award (autosigned by Joe Biden) for Academic Excellence.
Two of my kids have Aspergers and NCCAH.
Love, attention, support, praise, teaching at home, a secure environment, good food...her child could be dominating.
The problem is with you, Momma. Look in the mirror.
Trayvon want Skittles.
She didn’t even stay for the refreshment table.
Feral entitled Moms.
Poor child..he will not forget this..(his mother’s behavior)
Just as I figured.
