Ann Coulter has always been a bomb-thrower. She traffics in saying outrageous things and then sits back and watches the fallout. Whether she believes half the stuff she says is anyone's guess. On a recent episode of her "Unsafe" podcast with Scott Adams, she compared long-haul COVID to UFOs and blamed New York liberals for making it up.

Really? I know a number of people she needs to call - men and certainly not liberals - and speak with and let them know they aren't really sick and miserable with Long COVID.
Fibromyalgia, restless leg syndrome, Long Haul Covid, are diagnosed far above reality. These are for the most part garbage can illnesses that are the result of doctors failing to follow the criteria that makeup a true diagnosis.
There are truly people with a condition.
I think the diagnosis of Long Haul Covid is proportional to the amount of people diagnosed with Covid that was deemed to be work related.
Second to that might be co dependent people who gain attention by have by the diagnosis. You see this in many chronic illnesses.
Ann Coulter is a nut. Why don’t you ever see her on any conservative talk shows?

Personally, if you have objective signs then I would say yes.

Extraordinary ignorance right there...ignorance beyond description, especially given there are physical symptoms that can be observed with those diseases, especially the first and second of those, including rashes from Lyme disease.

That's an extraordinary statement since it was an issue people were having and widely discussed here and certainly elsewhere long, long before any vaccines were administered.

I know someone who claims to have long Covid and complains about symptoms they display all the time anyways.
I don't see any difference in their lives that would indicate debilitating after effects of a viral illness.
FWIW, I've had colds in the past that easily took two months to recover from. Matter of fact, last winter around Christmas some virus was going around that lasted WEEKS. and everyone who had it, tested for Covid and the tests all came back negative.
Your post literally contradicts itself. You claim viral infections can't haven't lasting effects, then you confirm they can from your own personal experience.
