Tucker Carlson in a recent show announced that despite the current belief held by many if not most people in the U.S., illegals CAN vote in U.S. elections.
True the Vote discovered this anomaly in the U.S. code apparently, but is this really true?

Per the article:
“18 U.S. Code § 611 – Voting by aliens
(a) It shall be unlawful for any alien to vote in any election held solely or in part for the purpose of electing a candidate for the office of President, Vice President, Presidential elector, Member of the Senate, Member of the House of Representatives, Delegate from the District of Columbia, or Resident Commissioner, unless—
(1) the election is held partly for some other purpose;
(2) aliens are authorized to vote for such other purpose under a State constitution or statute or a local ordinance; and
(3) voting for such other purpose is conducted independently of voting for a candidate for such Federal offices, in such a manner that an alien has the opportunity to vote for such other purpose, but not an opportunity to vote for a candidate for any one or more of such Federal offices.
(b) Any person who violates this section shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than one year, or both.
(c) Subsection (a) does not apply to an alien if—
(1) each natural parent of the alien (or, in the case of an adopted alien, each adoptive parent of the alien) is or was a citizen (whether by birth or naturalization);
(2) the alien permanently resided in the United States prior to attaining the age of 16; and
(3) the alien reasonably believed at the time of voting in violation of such subsection that he or she was a citizen of the United States.
At first as one reads this code, specifically subsection (c), (1), (2), (3) – it looks like this is a complete farce, no one can just claim themselves to be a citizen of the U.S. when they in fact are not, and then vote – don’t be ridiculous, right?
In order for illegals to vote (illegals are allowed to legally vote in some local elections) in federal elections, some prerequisites must first be met:
First, the illegal’s parents must have been U.S. citizens, BUT – said parents can also be FORMER U.S. citizens. Now why did Congress include that nice little loophole do you suppose? This also applies to adoptive parents as well.
Second, the illegal must have resided in the U.S. before attaining the age of 16.
Let me put this into perspective. All the above, the parental requirements and residency – this can all be faked quite easily. Forge a few documents, and simply state that you BELIEVE that you are a U.S. citizen (After all, illegals have rights you know), and you (the illegal) can vote in a federal election.
Let’s be serious here – WHO is going to investigate whether or not these claims are true? Who is going to be willing to spend that kind of time and money? Answer – NO ONE.”
And anyone who complains about it will be met with — “What?? ANOTHER insurrection?? You need to shut up or we’ll put you in jail.”
What are the odds that an illegal caught voting in a blue state will be prosecuted? Zip, zero, nada.

If this were true, then it would have already happened. It’s not like illegal immigration just started yesterday.
I didn’t know they could vote until today. This still seems unlikely to me, but if true, the Dems will play it up big time!
And our country will be doomed.

If you can legally identify as the opposite sex then you can certainly identify as a citizen.

If the state is solid blue, it’s kind of
irrelevant as Dems would win that state regardless. The questions: would an illegal caught voting in a red or purple state be prosecuted?
Many legal immigrants bmeleive just that and do not like open borders. They had to get here legally, the hard way, and th3y don’t want people,casually walking across the border and taking jobs from them (the ones that work I mean- nearly 70% of Immigrants and illegals combined, do not work and get gov handouts, some to thetune of $45,000 a year- while legal seniors and disabled and veterans struggle to get by with as little as $17,000 a year)
Why shouldn’t a US citizen(s) be able to make citizen’s arrests of these criminal aliens if they are voting illegally?
They don’t need to vote to skew distribution of representation. They get counted in the census (where they’ve been deliberately sent) to power up Dem strongholds with more districts based only on population (citizenship not required).
