Perhaps illegals are smart enough to see that it’s to their advantage to close the border. Doing so immediately would mean fewer swimmers in their labor pool.

Correct you could say it began back in 1492 when
Columbus sailed the ocean blue. Then in mid 1800s
there was a civil war to free those newcomers and
give them citizenship. So life is ever changing and
there may well be inhabitants living on the moon or
other planets by the end of this century. Enjoy life as
it unfolds during your lifetime.
