Matt (Travis) is a legend around these parts, and rightfully so.

Was just a couple of years ago I think he was voted “the Freeper you’d most like to have a beer with.”

But I think he’s been taking a break from FR, as some of us have, because he doesn’t support Trump to the Q devotee level, which often feels like a requirement lately.

Not trying to start a problem, just saying, if you want to see more of Matt, you might have to actually listen to what he has to say. Start with his account on Twitter if you want the latest.

Always good to hear from Matt. He correctly admits he is Mr. Doom and Gloom. And I know from direct experience that his bride DOES call him that.

If you want a fun evening (and you’re in his AO) invite him for dinner at Whitey’s Fish Camp (2032 County Road 220, Orange Park, FL) near his home. Grab a booth overlooking the canal.

I get it that he says a lot of things everyone else says, BUT that kinda means a LOT of people see the events and outcomes from different perspectives and are reaching the same conclusions.

Interesting take on what happens with real estate for renters, those with mortgages, and those whose mortgages are paid off.

And Matt is right that much of what he wrote about in the EFAD trilogy has come to pass, and he wrote those nearly 20 years ago. Yikers.

Always sobering to go back and read his short piece “When the music stops.” He’s not wrong. 9 meals to anarchy is a sad truism for cities.
